I somewhat know Mule deer kind of. I know Columbian Black-Tailed(CBT) deer better than their Maker does. Being I have White-Tailed deer on my acreage I pretty much got a handle on them. Of the three species mentioned above the White-Tailed deer, ESPECIALLY THE BUCKS can get themselves in the most gawdamed weirdo vaudevillian comical predicaments imaginable. Below; this White-Tailed buck well illustrates my claim!

Twice I have came across the decayed carcasses of two bucks with their horns locked-up. They just basically starve/stress themselves to death.

One hunter in KY killed a buck years ago that had the remains of another buck's head/antlers still attached to it's rack.
