Grim outlook for Red wave as GOP fundraising plummets…

IRS Union Gives 100% of PAC Spending to Democrats

Dems will increase size of their campaign war chests with vote to double the size of the IRS

The IRS employee union is a major funder of the Democratic party. Senate Democrats will vote for a bill today to hire and deploy 87,000 new agents — a doubling of the size of the agency which will further swell Democrats’ political campaign war chests.

In the past decade, the IRS union has given $601,759 in PAC funding to Democrat party committees.

All data is pulled from OpenSecrets:

The IRS employee union gives 100% of its PAC funding to Democrats in the 2022 cycle, including:

$30,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee

$30,000 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee

$30,000 to the DNC Services Corporation, an entity tasked with “coordinating party organizational activities.”

The IRS employee union prioritized political donations to Democrats who happen to be in 2022 battleground races:

$5,000 to Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.)

$10,000 to Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.)

$5,000 to Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.)

$1,000 to Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.)

The IRS employee union gives 98.79% of its federal candidate spending to Democrats, including:

Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.)

Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.)

Joaquin Castro (D-Texas)

Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.)

Over the next decade, doubling the size of the IRS will prove lucrative for the Democrat party.

You guys are so weird about pulling slivers of data out like looking at a city murders and claiming democratic places are dangerous when the stats show red states are far more dangerous.

Same thing here. Some organizations do give to the democrats but when you ADD THEM ALL UP you have far more small donations from democratic supporters and fewer donations but much bigger from Republican supporters.

Republican online donations contracted from 965k down to 913k while democrats increased their donation pool from 1.9M to 2.5M people first half of this year.

I bet it has something to do with Russia sanctions tightening pulling money from the republicans. ;)

Possible a result of Roe overturn, traitorous secret handling and insurrectionist fatigue as well.

The drop in donor numbers means some people who had previously contributed to GOP candidates stopped giving, and Republicans did not recruit enough new donors to replace them. The dip coincided with a decline in total WinRed fundraising, as well as lower fundraising totals between the first and second quarters for key Republican groups.

“Republicans have known for a long time that we were behind in online fundraising,” said Eric Wilson, a Republican digital strategist. “There was always the assumption that we could catch up. Now we’re learning that it’s too late.”

Since the start of 2021, around 2 million people have given money to federal committees through WinRed, according to the POLITICO analysis of federal campaign finance filings. By contrast, more than 4.1 million gave federally through ActBlue over the same period.

In nine out of the 10 most competitive U.S. Senate races this cycle, Democrats have outraised their Republican counterparts. Fundraising alone does not decide elections, of course. Outside groups — often funded by deep-pocketed donors — can close some of the gaps for Republicans. But even those well-funded super PACs and nonprofits have finite resources, and the low online fundraising numbers have alarmed GOP professionals.
This country just thinks Republicans are fucked!

Meet Kailee. A former antiabortion Republican

Last September, when a restrictive anti-abortion law took effect in Texas, Kailee pleaded on Facebook for people to contact their elected representatives to protect abortion rights.

In November, Kailee and Cade were overjoyed to learn that she was pregnant. Full of hope, they posted ultrasound pictures and a gender reveal video of a cannon shooting out blue confetti. They named their baby boy Finley.

Then, about three months later, they learned that Finley had heart, lung, brain, kidney and genetic defects and would either be stillborn or die within minutes of birth. Carrying him to term put Kailee at high risk for severe pregnancy complications, including blood clots, preeclampsia and cancer.

Even so, they could not get an abortion in Texas and fled to New Mexico.
Fake news.

That makes no sense. You do get that the bulk of institutional money go to republicans right? So what if there are some small parts of institutional money go to democrats? The only part of a bull you have is its shit.

What you hacks don't understand is that this doesn't necessarily translate into Dem victories. Just because people are dissatisfied the the dog-shit GOP does not mean they will line up to vote for the even more shitty Dem commies.

In all seriousness, I think it's a terrible sign that money plays such an important role in choosing our, uh, "leaders".

Their actions are going to follow the money. It will not be following principle or what's best for their constituents or for America.

We need to fix this system before it's too late.
...says the guy who voted for Biden because, muh, orange man bad...

If Republicans don’t win control of the Senate – which currently seems likely – given Biden’s dismal poll numbers, it would be a major failure and setback for the GOP.
You type words with no proof. Got a link?

What if Manchin switches parties because the dems reneged on his pipeline deal?

If the dems don't have (60) senate votes they can't do anything, and no way they get (60) votes.

We won’t know the outcome until November for sure. However until then we have some signs to point us toward the likely outcome. This sign says “GOP are losers”. So do the polls.

Here is what is clear… there will be no red wave in a very tumultuous time which usually benefits the out of power. It’s a total indictment of the GOPs failure to have popular ideas.

you would have thought she would of practice better birth control

I think it's safe to assume that, if indeed the GQP underperforms, they'll blame it on rigged elections and the usual suspects. Deep State. Chinese. Martians. Whatever.

They are now in all-victim-all-the-time mode. I guess it's how they motivate themselves in the face of reality.

“Would of”? She wants a baby dude. Would love to have one. However it’s been difficult to keep one for her and the latest one was going to die minutes after birth, suffocating for air. Texas says her fetus has to grow into a baby to suffocate. Texas is one cruel ass place.

Biden's "dismal poll numbers"?

Quite an admission from the DNC mouthpiece here
