Dont NEED government minders or speech codes.. All you need is few well placed review board members with an agenda.. Peer review is NOT the same as placing studies out there for general comment.. Papers are reviewed largely by APPOINTED reviewers who are matched by the review committee of the journal.. Considering this handful of scientist often have massive egos and group like HS sophmores, this often leads to long term bias in what appears in aparticular journal. And the vast majority of those in the field have NO SAY whatsoever in the process.. For the record, ive been asked to be areviewer several times.. Twice ,,, for papers submitted by my chief competitors in the field.. I could delay or nix their publication very easily..... Also been on Invte commitees who decide who gets to present papers at conference.. Its sometimes not pretty, even in field WITHOUT the pressure of this carnival.

Wonderful example of the type of thinking demostrated by the satire in the OP. So, across the many disciplines in science, and their many societies and journals, in their many nations and languages, there is this conspriracy to support the concept of AGW? Now what is the why of that? And how does that work?

Or maybe, closer to the truth, you have an ideologically driven agenda that has little to do with science, and everything to do with politics.
