Yes....they can call it whatever they want....and when they get caught lying about what it is...they can be held accountable for it.Liar. Nancy Pelosi called it an official impeachment *inquiry* which means they lied about the format they would follow.Sorry, this is an impeachment according to the Democrats, which puts this in a whole different ballpark. You're making false statements.
And Benghazi only took as long as it did because the Obama Administration lied about the causes.
And that's a discussion we could argue about all day too, however the point is the House had subpoena power to investigate to executive branch without calling the fabled "Impeachment Inquiry". Imagine if Obama had called for his appointees to ignore those subpoena's or tried to use Blanket Immunity to obstruct those investigations.
The Republicans made a point before of saying Obama wasn't the focus of the investigation, so they had the right to issue subpoenas to get to the truth. However, the Democrats are making all sorts of false claims the president did something illegal when the transcripts proved he wasn't. They're using a fake whistleblower to start an investigation based off of perjured testimony by the chairman doing the investigation.
It's okay for congress to subpoena witnesses if there is a reasonable suspicion of illegal acts, but they cannot issue them without probable cause....which is what they are doing. They lied about the process, the evidence, and about their direct contact and collusion with the whistleblower.
In the case of Benghazi Obama lied to the people of this country about the causes of the attack. He threatened witnesses with prosecution if they testified about what was really going on in Benghazi. He stonewalled and ignored requests for interviews from Republicans who threatened with subpoenas in various investigations.....but when they actually issued them Obama either asserted executive privilege or his witnesses claimed the 5th. You really have a short memory, dude.
They have never called it an impeachment. There are no articles of impeachment drawn up. The is no constitutional mechanism called an "Impeachment Inquiry". Furthermore, calling their investigation in the various committees doing the work and impeachment inquiry doesn't abrogate their subpoena power to investigate what they consider wrong doing by the administration.
It isn't an impeachment....as I have said repeatedly.
They had no right to use the word impeachment.
This is a yet another fraud perpetrated by Democrats on the public.
Now Nancy says they ain't gonna vote on an impeachment......and my guess is they never intended to.
Yawn. She can call it whateverthefuck she wants. They are certainly inquiring about possible impeachable offenses. Who exactly determines which words the Speaker of the House can use? Is there a book somewhere that lists the words they are not allowed to utter?
Do you think she meant "never" on impeachment?
Dreamer.
