Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, under fire from Democrats and Republicans over the state's tough new anti-immigrant law, has lashed out at her critics on her Facebook page writing that she will "not back down" on the law until the country's borders are secure.
I really have to give kudos to all the Republican politicians that have spoken out against this measure.

If you love Mexico so much perhaps you should move there. It's plain to see you don't give a shit about the lives of Americans.

Riiiight...xenophobic twit.:lol:

This law will die on Constitutional grounds. And the Latino vote will go the Democrats as they vote against the Republican label. Unfortunate for those Republicans that justly stated their opposition to this Unconstitutional law.

Looks like all the neoconnies have come out of the woodwork on this one...And look who's defending them!

Nope...Not a dime's worth of difference....:lol::lol::lol:

So Dud has changed his mind and thinks this law is good.

Big surprise!

I'm waiting for the post from Ravi that says... "I love illegal Aliens. Even if you kill my mother you are welcome in my country"... LOL

When did you ever get the idea I was against it?

Even though I've said it's effectiveness potential is rather dubious, given that the socialistic welfare state in America and the failed "war" on (some) drugs are the deeper problems, I've never been against securing our nation's borders.

Why do you hate women?:eusa_eh:

I sure hope the Gov doesn't have and Down Syndrome babies or regularly attends church because you'all will have plenty to talk about then.

Karl and Jeb, too? Disappointing

Meghan McCain isn’t the only Republican coming out against Arizona’s harsh new immigration bill: Several Republican leaders criticized the law on Tuesday: Florida Senate candidate Marco Rubio said it would “put our law enforcement officers in an incredibly difficult position”; Karl Rove said “I wish they hadn’t passed it” and predicted “constitutional problems”; Jeb Bush anticipated “unintended consequences”; while Senator Lindsey Graham became just the second Republican lawmaker to criticize the bill. Meanwhile, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said she had “some deep concerns with the law” and Attorney General Eric Holder said the Justice Department will review it.

Have you noticed, though, that the main GOPers voicing criticism don't hold public office at the moment? What about those who do?

Besides McCain, I do believe you are right. :eusa_whistle:

edit: whoops, McCain supports the law.
