It looks like we have an Emperor's New Clothes situation here. None of the conservatives who follow that channel are willing to be the first person to say that it makes no sense. Instead, they're all chortling about how the "Wood Milk" somehow really owned the libs.

Liberals are too angry to have a sense of humor, so it won't come as a surprise if they don't get the joke.

But here's my best attempt at explaining it:

Leftist vegans are always whimpering that meat eaters are “abusing” animals when the animals are used for food (something mankind has been doing from the moment he stepped foot on earth). Real Milk is an animal product, so crybaby vegans are opposed to it. What Aubrey did was make fun of a plant-based, “milk” substitute (something most vegans would rave about). In so doing … she pissed off a bunch of soy boys.

Why conservatives fail at comedy ...

To be funny, satire has to be connected to the real world. Since conservatives aren't connected to the real world, their satire just makes them look stupid and bitter. The wood milk piece was a good example of that.

Making fun of yourself is funny. Conservatives are too insecure to do that.

Punching up is funny. Due to their authority-worshipping nature, conservatives can't punch up. Conservatives think punching down is funny, but normal people think that those who punch down are bullies.

Conservatives take joy in seeing people humiliated or hurt, but normal people think that's not funny.

Most importantly, conservatives no longer think of humor as something that should be funny. They think of humor as a way to get revenge for all the imaginary wrongs they've suffered. And that's not funny.

There used to be funny conservative humor. Think of Jeff Foxworthy, or the show "King of the Hill". Those types of humor no longer exist. They don't attack liberals, so conservatives don't want to see them.

There's the first problem. Vegans aren't leftists. They're just vegans.

Second, leftists don't care about vegans. That's why it's so bizarre for conservatives to chortle about how attacking vegans somehow pisses off liberals.

I have never in my life encountered someone opposed to milk. That's why it made no sense. It was satirizing a position that only existed as a right-wing strawman, so it was just lame.
