GOP senator ‘disturbed’ by McConnell’s ‘total coordination’ with WH

Will it? The Sen. from Alaska..and her friend from Maine..are notorious for following their own path, or have you forgotten that she helped torpedo the attempt to kill the ACA? Plenty of pressure on her then...didn't seem to make a difference, now did it?

Lisa and Susan are very stubborn women..push them too hard...and they dig their heels in.
Even worse, from your perspective..is that they might embolden others to follow their examples!

Yep. Sycophants tend to get very irate at others who fail to demonstrate the same degree of subservience. It would appear, the rage is even more unhinged and malignant in case the targets are women.

Looks like not all the Repub's are on board with McConnell's cozy relationship with the Defense:

G.O.P. Senator ‘Disturbed’ by McConnell’s ‘Total Coordination’ with White House

"Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska expressed unease in an interview broadcast on Tuesday with the Senate majority leader’s vow of “total coordination” with the White House on impeachment proceedings against President Trump, a potentially significant crack in Republican unity.
Ms. Murkowski, a moderate with an independent streak, told Anchorage’s NBC affiliate KTUU she opposed “being hand in glove with the defense” and voiced other concerns as the Senate prepares to hold a trial over the two articles of impeachment that the House approved earlier this month.
Ms. Murkowski’s views could prove important. She rarely speaks publicly against Republican leadership, but when she does, she tends to stick with her positions, as when she opposed the confirmation of Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh and helped torpedo a repeal of the Affordable Care Act. She also tends to bring Senator Susan Collins of Maine, a fellow moderate Republican with her, and only a handful of defections would force the majority leader, Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, to switch course on the upcoming impeachment trial."
The problem is that more GOP senators aren’t disturbed by McConnell’s coordination with WH.

So what? The Democrats in the senate worked with the Clinton WH in 1998-99 during that impeachment. Get a llife.

Well..there's disturbed..and then there's publicly disturbed. It may well be that if someone speaks out..others might be emboldened. I'm pretty sure that there is more than one Sen. that would love to drive a knife into Trump's back..if he/she thought they could get away with it.

Don't know about knives and such. Oh, you meant it metaphorically? Of course, were the trial vote secret, some might actually be very tempted to slip the stiletto in.

Call me overly optimistic, but it would almost seem as if Speaker Pelosi's gamble, focusing the spotlight on those honorable Senators, is starting to pay off, eh?

Oh!! WOW!! another straw for the democrats to grasp and claim victory!! The Murkowski straw!!

Poor folks, just don't know that when its time to vote we know how votes will end unless the democrats find at least 4 RINOs. Otherwise McConnell still gets his win. I'm not seeing 4 RINOs for anything to do with impeachment. They need the Trump voters to win.

Yeah and there was a Democrat so disturbed by how his party was handling impeachment he left the party. The House impeachment was a strictley partisan affair by the House Democrats and yet now everyone acts so shocked and outraged the Senate Republicans are acting the same way.

Moscow Mitch is trying to have a Kangaroo trial. He....like Barr....is just another trump Stooge....

As opposed to the demrat stooges in the House coming up nothing more than political hot air. That is funny.

Four toss-up seats in the US Senate, 2020, easily matter. The GOP wants those on record as not supporting free trials anywhere for anyone in the USA..

The Democrats are now in clear opposition to what GOP wants for all Americans.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Fairness to the GOP is the Usury Economics of their prayers, "Thy Kingdom Come. . ." (Matthew 25: 14-30), of the usury brand and arithmetic!)

Mitch will hold the trial anyway he wants to, he runs the senate.
If the democrats don't like it they can whine all they want.
I hope Roberts calls for immediate dismissal because the Articles do not meet the Constitutional threshold for impeachment.

Not really but the dem house seats in trump land that voted for this donkey show got some worrying to do.

As usual, Lisa's RINO "unease" was nowhere to be found all during the House democratic lynching where the Intel and Judiciary investigators were working instead as prosecutors coaching and leading the witnesses making 100 baseless accusations as fact before they had even gathered the evidence in total coordination towards a predetermined, desired outcome to protect Joe Biden and advance their personal interests in steering the outcome of the next election in their favor.
Yikes! You packed a lot of lies in to that statement. Here's a dose of reality for ya.

Sen. Murkowski once again showed her willingness to buck the cowardice of the cowed members of her caucus by considering the overwhelming evidence of the Orange Turd's guilt revealed during the House impeachment inquiry. In her view, and in the view of every patriotic American, McTurtle's admission he is in the bag for the Bigot-in-Chief, having no interest in discussing the facts of the matter, is very disturbing.

Murkowski is in the Senate, not the House.
