The Tennessee senator wants Trump to stop pretending the Saudi Prince didn't have Khashoggi killed.
"Everything points to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, MbS, ordering @washingtonpost journalist Jamal #Khashoggi's killing," Corker, the outgoing chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, tweeted.

"The Trump administration should make a credible determination of responsibility before MbS executes the men who apparently carried out his orders," he added, using the initials for the crown prince.

Maybe, but due process first. You know; like with AVENATTI!!!

The FBI seems to think their proof is pretty good.
tRump's only dragging his heels because he likes the Prince, who is infinitely wealthier than the President, and that makes him a good guy.

I am not sure the CIA leaks like that; sounds a bit dodgy.

trump cares only for one thing; himself.
He also cares about SUCCESS, and the object of his success right now is the US. Yes; it's probably an ego thing, but aimed in the right direction. And he has been successful where it matters; it's the ECONOMY!!!

What due process? Two of the most powerful people in the world already decided it didn't happen. The CIA already said what they think, but that means nothing to both of them. Where is due process?

As yet there is NO full report let alone a Court Case. He may well be guilty, but then again so might Putin. Baseless allegations are easy; wait until ALL the facts are in.

That's my point. There will be no court case. The guy who controls the entire Saudi government is the one being accused, and he has the backing of the most powerful leader in the world. All he had to do was say he didn't do it.

This issue is far larger than this alludes to.

They are dragging their feet because international alliances are part of this equation - it is not a simple matter.

It's no so much 'international alliances' but the future of the petro $, the biggest arms deal in history and Saudi support for the planned regime change in Iran.

The orange clown in chief likes MBS and wants the story to just go away but the deep state thinks he's an unreliable psychopath and would like to see him replaced by a more loyal and stable relative so they can go back to business as usual (that's why the CIA leaked their 'opinion' to the MSM)

It will be interesting to see if MBS gets to stay in power... I'd say his chances don't look good....

He is either guilty or not guilty. trump's self-centered reactions, not withstanding.
The point is that guilt or non-guilt are not as relevant as you seem to think accounting for the impacts of those realities.

Here is the problem - international policy and agreements being subject to the whims of public opinion is not only a bad idea, it is insane. This is not a situation that should be played out in a whimsical fashion.

Likely not. But this is also likely to take more time to play out and a lot of pressure out of the public eye.

Public statements on the matter exacerbate the problem - they do nothing to control it.

It is also rather interesting that the complaint here is Trump not taking a solid position and not opening his mouth. Does anyone really think that Trump commenting more on this would help the situation? Really?

So? WTF are you going to do about it? Start a war? A fucking worthless muslim reporter got killed by some Saudi, so what. Nobody out here really gives a fuck. Why should we? How about this Tennessee senator stop pretending his fucking opinion means anything to anyone in the world other than who is at his dinner table. That would be a nice reality check.

foreign murder on a foreigner in a foreign land and the 'Saudis' being allies of the USA is a good thing in that part of the world .

Trump knows. Neither Trump nor the Republicans care.

Why would anyone in this country care? It is clearly none of our business. We aren't going to arrest him nor try him. He has never committed a crime in this country.
