GOP Congressmen Put Constituents Who Asked Tough Questions On A ‘Watch List’

Are the people abusing the original poster disputing the facts of the ThinkProgress story? The story links to a similar one from the Orlando Sentinel, so I see no reason to disbelieve the essential facts of the incident.

This seems incredibly foolish behavior on the part of the Webster staff. They basically took a document that they should have realized embarrassed them, not the protesters, and then distributed it to the media.

Even if the media figures were sympathetic, it's not clear that the questions are very helpful to Webster. Is someone going to report that a protester is associated with the infamous (sarcastic) Wade Rethke? How many protesters could possibly answer yes to the question, "Were you ever the Florida State Director for ACORN?" Would anyone really be surprised if someone protesting Webster admitted that they had worked on the campaign of Barak [SIC] Obama?

I see someone is fascinated with Mr. George Soros. Well, that I can understand, because he is a great American patriot. Gawd bless George Soros!

Here's what Democrats thought of town hall attendees THEY invited, back in 2009. Of course, the liberal weenie mouth breathers will complain that it's old news now.

Townhall Twilight Zone - HUMAN EVENTS

The bizarre Democrat reaction to their own constituents -- the ones they invited to Congressional town hall meetings -- morphed yesterday from the realm of the strange into the far reaches of the Twilight Zone...

The DNC released an ad yesterday attacking town hall attendees as angry mobs, giving out the Republican National Committee (RNC) phone number to call and complain. The RNC responded by including on their main phone menu an option to press one to voice concerns about issues raised in the DNC ad -- which then forwarded the calls to the DNC switchboard.

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Ca.), actually said the people attending these town halls were too well dressed to be legitimate. Go figure. She’s from ritzy Marin County.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca.) accused these average, everyday Americans of being crazy, fanatical, swastika-wearing frauds.

The President yesterday accused the town hall attendees of “manufactured outrage.” On the White House website the administration put together a KGB-style operation asking people to forward emails they may get “about health insurance reform that seems fishy.”

The Democrats should remove the plank from their own eye, before worrying about the splinter in the Republicans eye.

...AS they attack the very people that they wish power from...

more of what Democrats think of their own constituents...

Town halls gone wild - Alex Isenstadt - POLITICO.com
“I had felt they would be pointless,” Rep. Tim Bishop (D-N.Y.) told POLITICO, referring to his recent decision to temporarily suspend the events in his Long Island district. “There is no point in meeting with my constituents and [to] listen to them and have them listen to you if what is basically an unruly mob prevents you from having an intelligent conversation.”

In Bishop’s case, his decision came on the heels of a June 22 event he held in Setauket, N.Y., in which protesters dominated the meeting by shouting criticisms at the congressman for his positions on energy policy, health care and the bailout of the auto industry.

Are you kidding????

I would avoid them too!

Dems Townhall Temper Tantrums
Democrats continue to display their contempt for American voters at their town hall meetings nationwide. The most recent petulant display is brought to you by Rep. David Scott (D-Ga.) who completely lost it when a man asked a question about health care during the open Q & A segment of Scott’s town hall meeting.

Scott blew his cool, accusing the man of hijacking the meeting, saying this was only for his constituents. He haughtily chastised the man for showing up at the open meeting and asking him a health care question in the open Q & A segment instead of making an appointment with him to talk about health care in private -- as if that made any sense whatsoever. As it turns out, the man asking about health care is Dr. Brian Hill, one of Scott’s constituents. According to the news reports, Dr. Hill isn’t even a Republican.

Democrats Solicit Town Hall Rent-a-Mob Jobs on Craig’s List
Unlike opponents to the government takeover of health care who show up at Congressional town hall meetings out of deep concern over attempts to destroy the American health care system, Democrats have had to resort to hiring people to go to town hall meetings in support of their scheme.

Pelosi and others in the Democrat Party have accused those in opposition to socialized medicine of being paid hacks or “Astroturf” meaning there is no real grassroots movement behind the opposition. As is being reported this morning on HUMAN EVENTS’ sister site, RedState.com, there are hundreds if not thousands of job listings on the left-leaning Craig’s list ranging from $11-16 an hour to a flat $325-500 per week to “Astroturf” the meetings. Once again, projection is the greater part of the Democrat Party. They accuse opponents of doing what they’re actually doing -- paying people to show up at the town hall meetings to support their health care scheme -- counting on their willing accomplices in the “mainstream” media to once again cover up the truth.

That's funny! Dated June 6, 2010. Let's see some CURRENT stuff regarding this August recess...

I'm pointing out the long history of Democrats whining when their own constituents complain about their actions in town hall meetings THEY were invited to, dip shit.

As I said, the Dems need to remove the plank from their own eye, before they can worry about the splinter in the eye of the Republicans.

Of course, since it's YOUR party I'm casting a negative light on here (with their own actions), you'll just explain it away.

:lmao: :lmao:

Think Progress.

:lmao: :lmao:

The article has supporting links for the mentally challenged.

ASSHAT!

The 'supporting links' are from the AFL-CIO ( Big fucking surprise they'd say something negative about a Republican  ) or from Think Progress themselves!

Moron.

Rep. Dan Webster: U.S. Rep. Dan Webster acknowledges distributing 'watch list' of local activists - OrlandoSentinel.com

"They're trying to demonize us because we're pushing back on cuts that affect me and others," she (Tamecka Pierce) said this week.

Ok, so now anything to say on the watch list?
