He was dishonorably discharged and his mom lobbied to get it changed so he could get VA benefits. He lives on his family compound with his dad who used to spew “do what you have to do” and “watch out for lawyers and cameras” as a police officer. He robbed a cabbie (including taking his money) and then claimed it was a PTSD flashback and he thought he was at a checkpoint (no explanation for why someone at a checkpoint would be giving him cash)..

Nope, you need to watch the video again. She clearly grabs him before he punches.

Here is a video of the event...the punch occurs at about 8-9 seconds into the video the video and is over by 10 seconds or so of the video as Damigo runs away ...the woman was not looking in the direction of Damigo but off to the side as he rushes up to her running she turns towards him and gets clocked..He apparently threw a hand punch as he did not knock her out ...in spite of it being a sucker punch and he outweighs her by perhaps as much as 80 to 100 lbs

Watching you guys argue about who the "good guy" was in this fight is hilarious to me.

They both came to Berkeley to fight. Neither one of them was "defending themselves". Both were there for the express purpose of fighting with each other.
