Not long ago the self-proclaimed world's most premiere Global Warming 'Scientists' were warning of the Earth's pending destruction due to Global Warming causing the melting of the Polar Ice Caps and causing millions do die due to the rising sea levels that would follow.

[NOTE: Any 7th Grade student can tell you this was B$ and even show you an experiment to prove it. you can even do it yourself. Fill a glass full of ice then add water all the way up to the top of the glass. According to Global Warming 'experts', when the ice melts the water should flow over the edge and spill all over the counter. Doesn't happen.]

These scientists and Global Warming nuts told of how Polar Bears were drowning because they had nothing to sit on due to all the ice disappearing. As their 'science' kept being exposed as 'data manipulation' they have had to change the name from 'Global Warming' to 'Climate Change'. These guys still remained fanatical, though, to the point where they have become SO INTOLERANT of any other opinion that they recently demanded all 'Doubters' be arrested / jailed! "It's the Global Warming Inquisition!"

Remember those guys declaring the Polar Ice Caps are melting and we're all going to drown? These are the same guys NOW telling us a NEW ICE AGE is coming...but of course it is STILL the result of 'Global Warming' / 'Climate Change'.

SHOCK CLAIM: World is on brink of 50 year ICE AGE and BRITAIN will bear the brunt

Crippling blizzards, snowstorms and sub-zero temperatures threaten a yearly dose of Arctic misery for the next FIFTY YEARS at least - and possibly decades more.

Climate experts warn a rare pattern of water cooling in the north Atlantic will trigger a chain reaction of events leading to a “fully-blown ice age”.

NOW....All Hail Global Warming / Climate Change!

1. The ice in the glass thing is true, but that is not what would raise ocean levels, that is not ice in the water, but ice out of the water. The ice cap over Antarctica if melted would raise ocean levels, not the Arctic Ice Cap. But those temperatures in summer are around 40 below and would require an increase of about 70 F to get that Arctic cap to melt. Anyway it has been growing, not melting, so there wont be significant water level rises anywhere other than ocean variation due to gravitational shifts due to planet and Moon alignments.

2. The Climate Change fiasco is about dead, which is why they are so furiously trying to suppress any dissent and to intimidate even those outside the scientific professions with calls for jail time and fines. That could happen in Europe as they have all kinds of thought crime laws, but less so here.

3. Article said: "The warning comes just months after the Met Office warned Britain might be facing another maunder minimum ice age.
A recent report warned the amount of light and warmth released by the sun is nosediving to levels "not seen for centuries".
A so-called 'Maunder Minimum' has been responsible for historic winter whiteouts and led to the River Thames freezing 300 years ago.
The Met Office-led study claimed that although the effect will be offset by recent global warming, Britain faces years of unusually cold winters.
A spokesman said: "A return to low solar activity not seen for centuries could increase the chances of cold winters in Europe and eastern parts of the United States but wouldn't halt global warming.
"Return of 'grand solar minimum' could affect European and eastern US winters.”

Why does any of the facts above have anything to do with Climate Change? Why bother to try and connect the two unrelated causal forces at all?

And if I recall correctly, people at the MET were saying just a few years ago that the UK might not ever see snow again, and now they say this? Sounds like the case for reduced solar activity has won the debate but they dont want anyone to know that. The Russian scientists have been saying this for the last 15 years or so and are now proven right. This is the result of letting the leftwing fanatics turn our science professions into leftwing mouthpieces of ideological nonsense. Now we have to start looking to RUSSIA for accurate and objective scientific analysis.

Libtards are determined to turn the US into a Third World nation and they seem to have accomplished that in our science professions.

Yeah, right.

Big Shelves Of Antarctic Ice Melting Faster Than Scientists Thought

Big Shelves Of Antarctic Ice Melting Faster Than Scientists Thought

Many of the ice sheets that blanket Antarctica run right down to the land's edge and then out into the ocean, where they form floating ice "shelves." Some of those shelves have been shrinking lately. Now, a team of scientists has discovered that shelves in the West Antarctic are shrinking a lot faster than they realized. The research appears in this week's issue of the journal Science.

"We are starting to lose more ice at a faster rate; we're accelerating," says Helen Fricker, a climate scientist at University of California, San Diego's Scripps Institution of Oceanography. In fact, she says the rate of shrinking has increased by 70 percent over the past decade.

2014 Earth's warmest year on record;
December 2014 record warm; Global oceans also record warm for 2014

The globally averaged temperature over land and ocean surfaces for 2014 was the highest among all years since record keeping began in 1880. The December combined global land and ocean average surface temperature was also the highest on record.
Summary Information | National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI)

And 2015 will beat that record. Two in a row. And some yokels are claiming it is cooling.

What a bunch of propaganda, you even read that bullshit...

A sample from your link....

The average Arctic sea ice extent for December was 210,000 square miles (4.1 percent) below the 1981–2010 average. This was the ninth smallest December extent since records began in 1979, according to analysis by the National Snow and Ice Data Center based on data from NOAA and NASA

Oh records have only been kept since 1979? Again off your rocker ...that's not science that's not a trend...the earth is 4.5 billion years old not 36 years old

Again I want day to day ocean temperature from 1880 and they don't have it.

I personally believe in climate change. It seems to make sense. However, it makes no sense to arrest someone just because he doesn't think nor believe what you do. It's their right & freedom. Not up to you.

LOL! So you 'believe in' an absurd ploy being advanced by a degenerate cult, the history of which amounts to a long string of deceit and fraudulence, which has consistently been used to exploit the ignorance of people who need to believe... .

Here's a clue... The one singular consistent trait of the earth's climate is CHANGE.

Stirring hysteria over such is the irrefutable sign of a duplicitous evil that has no bottom... . To 'believe in' its hysterical scenario, sets you complicit in the destruction it intends to cause.

Just sayin'... .

I gather that you consider yourself a reasonable person.

Reasonable people do not believe in invalid logical constructs. Constructs which claim abnormality in fundamental normality, are logically invalid.

You now have everything a reasonable person needs to free themselves.

^ LOL

They're forced to add in the "Warming" from the "Deep ocean" to make their numbers work

It's a joke

(Recent examples of such are "Hope and Change" and feel free to pick any one of the recent "-Springs" and simply follow that to its respective, chaos, calamity and catastrophe.)

Icebergs causing detours in No. Atlantic...

Unusually Large Swarm of Icebergs Drifts into Shipping Lanes
April 06, 2017 — More than 400 icebergs have drifted into the North Atlantic shipping lanes over the past week in an unusually large swarm for this early in the season, forcing vessels to slow to a crawl or take detours of hundreds of miles.
Experts are attributing it to uncommonly strong counter-clockwise winds that are drawing the icebergs south, and perhaps also global warming, which is accelerating the process by which chunks of the Greenland ice sheet break off and float away. As of Monday, there were about 450 icebergs near the Grand Banks of Newfoundland, up from 37 a week earlier, according to the U.S. Coast Guard's International Ice Patrol in New London, Connecticut. Those kinds of numbers are usually not seen until late May or early June. The average for this time of year is about 80. In the waters close to where the Titanic went down in 1912, the icebergs are forcing ships to take precautions.

Icebergs force detours

Instead of cutting straight across the ocean, trans-Atlantic vessels are taking detours that can add around 400 miles to the trip. That's a day and a half of added travel time for many large cargo ships. Close to the Newfoundland coast, cargo ships owned by Oceanex are throttling way back to 3 or 4 knots as they make their way to their homeport in St. John's, which can add up to a day to the trip, said executive chairman, Capt. Sid Hynes. One ship was pulled out of service for repairs after hitting a chunk of ice, he said. “It makes everything more expensive,” Hynes said Wednesday. “You're burning more fuel, it's taking a longer time, and it's hard on the equipment.'' He called it a “very unusual year.”

'Extreme ice season'

Coast Guard Cmdr. Gabrielle McGrath, who leads the ice patrol, said she has never seen such a drastic increase in such a short time. Adding to the danger, three icebergs were discovered outside the boundaries of the area the Coast Guard had advised mariners to avoid, she said. McGrath is predicting a fourth consecutive “extreme ice season” with more than 600 icebergs in the shipping lanes. Most icebergs entering the North Atlantic have “calved” off the Greenland ice sheet. Michael Mann, director of the Earth System Science Center at Pennsylvania State University, said it is possible climate change is leading to more icebergs in the shipping lanes, but wind patterns are also important.

Ice patrol a success

In 2014, there were 1,546 icebergs in the shipping lanes — the sixth most severe season on record since 1900, according to the patrol. There were 1,165 icebergs in 2015 and 687 in 2016. The International Ice Patrol was formed after the sinking of the Titanic to monitor iceberg danger in the North Atlantic and warn ships. It conducts reconnaissance flights that are used to produce charts. In 104 years, no ship that has heeded the warnings has struck an iceberg, according to the ice patrol.

Well now, here we are in 2017, and 2014, 2015, and 2016 were record years for heat. Hardly as predicted by that stupid article in that yellow rag. Easy 65, you still going with that? LOL
