Trespassing.

It says she was taking pictures of the perimeter of the base. Is that considered trespassing?

Genovese was seen at the air field taking pictures on previous occasions over the past few weeks and was warned to stay away, said Undersheriff Joseph T. Caracappa.

On one of those prior occasions, "She had wandered on the property, looking around, and was approached by staff at the Air National Guard," Caracappa said. "She was asking them about containers on the property, and they said, 'We can't tell you that,' and asked her to leave."

But she was seen and recognized on the property again Thursday evening by an off-duty Southampton Town police officer, and upon arrival Deputy Sheriff Robert Carlock made the arrest, officials said.

Nancy Genovese, 49, of Lakewood Avenue in Quogue was charged with criminal trespass in the third degree, arraigned in Southampton Town Justice Court on Friday and is being held at the Suffolk County Correctional Facility in Riverhead on $50,000 bail

You're welcome. A bit OT, I had a crazy lawnmower guy stalking me a few years back. I won't get into the whole story, but I came home one day to find he'd parked his lawnmower and all his worldly possessions on my back (screened) porch. I called the police and the officer told me that he couldn't be arrested for trespassing because I hadn't told him he wasn't allowed to live on my porch

He said even if I'd had 'no trespassing' signs up, the law says you have to tell the person(s) to their face they are not allowed to trespass.

I'm no Glenn Beck fan, but seriously, are guys so desperate to discredit his message that you're trying to make this his fault?

We arent desperate at all...you guys are all doing it yourselfs...its a proven fact right wing hosts on radio and tv play up to the fears of the American people and the fringe aspect of their party....feed lie after lie as fact...get them to believe it and the end result is luncy like from this lady and they are not ashamed about it at all....it feeds their hate driven...fear mongering agenda....prime example is not just from a radio or tv host, it is from the last election, you had Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck and the like cramming the ayers thing down peoples throats on a daily basis, called into question Obama's patriotism and basically calling him a terrorist lover....then you got the ultimate rightie nut Palin reciting OVER AND OVER how Obama pals around with terrorists and the fringe ate it up and you had even more outrageous claims coming from that fringe group...and you know what...the Glen Becks and Limbaughs of the worlds LOVED it and probably creamed their pants seeing the luny fringe go ape shit over statements that half or more of were not even true.
