The Midwest tends to Red, but now less Red. Again, the House Districts were all up for election in 2018. Now in the Senate, incumbents are heading into retirement, not into 2020.

It might seem to go completely against logic and rational thinking, but the reality is that the USA now has a growing population of true idiots who have no grasp of reality and totally believe that Socialism or practically anything OTHER than the Constitution and the current rule of law is better than what we have now.

They, being born into privilege and plenty (ALL US citizens), have come to believe that life is all about accommodating them and their needs. Me! Me! Me!
Fame, fortune and an easy life are the alluring yet impossible promises of Hollywood and the Socialist Elites.

The Millennials are not completely wrong.
Our system has indeed become perverted and corrupted by power grabbing elites and deep corporate pockets. In many ways, the current system does in fact stack the odds in favor of the wealthy. It needs fixing but not transformation.

But what they fail to understand is that handing absolute power to those same entities (who also promise free everything) is the very worst move they could make.
How do we show them reality? How do we convince them that weeding out corruption and living by the great Constitution we already have is the best path for all?

How do we show them that the balance of power as envisioned by the Founding Fathers was indeed a superb system, but it has been allowed to be hijacked by corporate interests and greedy politicians?

For one, we'd need to clean house. Take back our political system from lobbyists etc and make government once again work for us...We The People, instead of the way it is now.....where The People live in fear of the Government which has slowly stolen the power of absolute control over our lives.

THAT is how we would show Millennials and future generations that fixing the system we have and not transforming it is the way forward.
