Liberal whiners can just never get over a loss, can they? I'll bet some of the same whiners are still fuming over Lincoln being elected.

Precisely.seriously? You say they were afraid of reagan when he was not even president yet for a week? my my, that's some assumption there, don't ya think?Simple: they were afraid of Reagan.
On the other hand, they laughed at Jimmy Carter.
do you really buy in to that?
What difference does it make how long he was in office?
Reagan made it clear he intended to take military action against the Iranians if they didn't release the hostages. Carter made it clear that he was a spineless appeaser.
There are witnesses who saw him in Paris that day.
There are NO witnesses to him being in DC.
These documents will reveal the truth of his whereabouts on that day.
Do you agree they should be released?
i still don't see why the iranians would release them the day he got in to office....the deal had to have been made with the USA or the Reagan team, PRIOR to their release.....thus, jimmy carter's team worked the deal to release them, or the President elect's team got involved BEFORE Reagan was inaugurated.
THey NEED to release these documents if he is innocent they will prove his innocence
Oh great, another Birther.

Keeping a Curious Bush Secret

Exclusive: One of the strange mysteries from the Reagan-Bush era is where did George H.W. Bush go on one Sunday in October 1980 when some witnesses placed him meeting with Iranians in Paris. More than three decades later, Bushs supposed alibi remains a state secret, Robert Parry reports.
By Robert Parry
More than three decades ago, on Oct. 19, 1980, then-Republican vice presidential candidate George H.W. Bush supposedly took an afternoon trip to visit a family friend in Washington, an alibi that could prove he could not have traveled secretly to Paris for treacherous meetings with Iranians.
But Bushs White House in 1992 and his presidential library now have refused to release the name of this alibi witness or even the address where Bush allegedly went. The insistence on keeping this secret has just been reaffirmed by Debra Steidel Wall, deputy archivist of the United States.
So, rather than release what theoretically should be a fact the Bush Family would want out proof that the elder George Bush did not engage in secret talks with Iranians behind President Jimmy Carters back regarding 52 Americans then being held hostage in Iran the U.S. government is saying that only a costly federal court lawsuit can dislodge this historical detail.

Wrong, dipshit. Secret Service records establish his location that day. It wasn't in Paris. IN fact, every time the conspiracy theorists came up with a date for the meeting, the facts shot it down, so they changed the date. The wack-doodle conspiracy theorists gave up on accusing Bush as the culprit and shifted their attention to William Casey.
By pursuing this idiocy you're only proving how utterly gullible and stupid you are.
i still don't see why the iranians would release them the day he got in to office....the deal had to have been made with the USA or the Reagan team, PRIOR to their release.....thus, jimmy carter's team worked the deal to release them, or the President elect's team got involved BEFORE Reagan was inaugurated.
There was no deal, nitwit.
Since the United States was never at war with Iran, it's not treason.
However, it never happened, so the whole thing is idiotic.
The US has not been "at war" with anyone since the 1940's.
But some seem to think Jane Fonda is guilty of treason.
Boxer, Waxman, Waters, Pelosi. That's real treason. All Democrats. How inconvenient.
I read when Bush was 4 y/o he pulled a dogs tail once.
Not good at all.
Why do you belittle a potentionally treasonous act?
got any guesses on why that day was chosen to release them?so why did the iranians release the hostages right after reagan was inaugurated?
what was their purpose to wait? what advantage of doing such was an advantage to the Iranians?
inquiring minds want to know.....
Inquiring? Somehow, I don't think so.
No it has not.
It can be "exploded" by releasing the docyuments that "prove" he wasnt in Paris.
Gee why wont they release them then????????
