One is more akin to a public utility than the other.
You can't be denied electrical service for using that electricity to power an electric typewriter on which you type speech the power company doesn't agree with.

No one owns the internet
and access to the internet should not be controlled by a few private companies
As I said an ISP and a web site are 2 entirely different animals and a web site can deny people access to their property but not to the internet itself

I don't think anyone should control access to the internet.
I have no problem with an ISP charging to use it's servers to access the internet IMO it's no different than the phone co charging to use it's switching centers to make a phone call.
