We've got to hold onto the fact that behind every one of those are shattered families and wounded communities.
Its just so repugnant that anyone would fight for more guns and more easy access to guns when the crazies are murdering our children.
2 things.
1) When the cops showed up and stopped this maniac....they brought guns. Why?
2) You ever hear that phrase "when seconds count the cops are just minutes away"??
Saying we need more GOOD GUYS with guns to defeat BAD GUYS with guns is the logical thing to do.
YOUR logic would be like in 1939 if the US said "we need tank and battleship reductions. That way we won't get killed by tanks and battleships." But....Germany and Japan were aquiring tanks and battkeships.
See how dumb that is?
FACT: The bad guys will have weapons. ALWAYS. Guns aren't going away. That fact is permanent.
Do we arm more good guys? Or....do we say "We need tank and battleship reduction" because we are afraid of guys who gave tanks and battleships? Newsflash....they aren't giving theirs up.
No Buc... We want the cop to the shooting which are trained to do gun battle... Are all of you trained on any gun battle?
If there's a shooting I don't think all of you will stand up and start firing. You probably duck or start running. Am I right?
