From the heart: Navajo Code Talkers

Code Talkers had no bearing on the Guadalcanal night battles
these were defensive battles for the US
Guadalcanal was the first offensive battle of the Pacific, ignoramus.
you need to comprehend and learn the truth
as stated = '''defensive BATTLES''
the Japanese ATTACKED the US defensive area
now you are just being ridiculous and/or are not knowledgeable on the subject
You are one stupid dummy.
Normandy was defensive too because we held defensive positions!
Guadalcanal was an offensive operation. Cherry picking a few counteroffensives during the taking of the island from the enemy is laughable.
hahahhaa
I was going to mention Normandy ..you screwed up again
....as I just stated and stated previously, at the Canal, the US did RAIDS and PATROLS--these were not major offensives and did NOT gain much--IF ANY--territory
...in Normandy, Monty went on many MAJOR offensives designed to BREAK OUT--gain territory--where as at the Canal they did not
..I can link all of this

they were protecting the airfield
it was a LONG term defense
.....there were US RAIDS and long PATROLS--but the MAJOR battles were attacks by the Japanese---stated in previous posts
...as stated, you are being silly and/or do not know the subject
The Guadalcanal Campaign, also known as the Battle of Guadalcanal and codenamed Operation Watchtower by Allied forces, was a military campaign fought between 7 August 1942 and 9 February 1943 on and around the island of Guadalcanal in the Pacific theatre of World War II. It was the first major offensive by Allied forces against the Empire of Japan.

You’re stuck on stupid. US Marines took the island. That’s called offense.
also, let me tell you some more about WW2
.....a lot of the battles in the Pacific prior to Iwo, etc, were attacks just to take very small areas....they could not and did not want to take over large areas of islands/jungles/etc = STUPID/waste/worthless
...so they would take over the airfield/construction area and that was the end of the offensive--then they DEFENDED the area
..as stated before, these were short, sharp battles --not much of an offensive, especially compared to Europe
..again, the war would not have STOPPED if they did not have the Code Talkers

hahahha--you screwed up again--they did not take the island--per what I JUST posted!!!
..they took a VERY small area and defended it
stop
see the LITTLE red area----that's what the Marines took
I know--it's hard to see--it's so SMALL

.....AND--if you knew about the Canal, the USMC did not even have a complete, connected defensive line of the SMALL area they took --so the area they had Marines in was even SMALLER

a picture paints a thousand TRUE words
.....you can BARELY see the USMC perimeter = they did NOT do much offensive action, did they?? or they must've failed--which they did not
