This is a very basic concept. The mass of the parking lot is BLACK, which absorbs more energy from the sun creating a higher temperature above it. Thermometers in close proximity develop what is called "sensor bias" because the near area air temperature is artificially increased by the asphalts warming of it.

The main problem of the HCN (Historical Climate Network) is due to changes around many of the sensor sites where data is collected. This is known by scientists as the Urban Heat Island Effect or UHI. This develops around cities where most of our climatic stations are located. This is the reason US-CRN was created. to remove this artificial, man made-land use change, bias from the data.

We know, by empirical experiment, if there are enough sensors affected the combined aggregate temperature will be artificially raised.

Land use change is the primary reason that the HCN is no longer a reliable source for climate monitoring. The problems in France show that it is a global problem, in poor site control and care. The one in the OP overstated the warming by 1.9 deg C compared to 5 other privately owned and cared for weather stations within one mile of it. Even two of the French Meteorological sites (within 5 miles) show the temperature was overstated.

The evidence is clear that this is a case of sever station change bias.

Our oceans can out gas very quickly when our sun warms them, biological matter increases in this warmth and the decay process is enhanced. This is why CO2 lags temperature rise in all cases. These two simple processes dwarf mans input by a factor of five on the low side of their mass. As we still do not know how to model this system properly and all modeling overstates the affect, its is highly probable mans impact is far less than 0.1 Deg C per doubling of CO2 as our atmosphere is acting in a dampening manner not an enhancing one like the AGW hypothesis purports.

They see the same violent thunderstorm we've all been seeing for decades and immediately pivot to "This must be climate change!". Increases in greenhouse forcing inferred from the outgoing longwave radiation spectra of the Earth in 1970 and 1997 Natural variations don't account for the rapidity of the changes. Natural variations can be traced. Solar activity, volcanic activity, earth rotation around its axis nothing fits the current changes. Except that is one.... human activity.
See science does measure quantify and look for evidence. The way I see it simply denying without providing a decent hypothesis to explain the data is faith.
You will find not a SINGLE climatologist or Oceanoligist who denies climate change and you will find few if any, in any other branch of science. What do you think it means that climate change denying finds no credible champions among those that actually research it?

Considering you are instead talking here to me I'm very much inclined to believe you can't. The NGO's and government agencies mentioned here do contain meteorologists and atmospheric physicists. Your supposed area of expertise. Looking forward to seeing you plead your case that oceans warm by themselves and thereby cause global warming, not mankind to them. Until that time my appeal to authority (which it isn't, since the people I claim to follow are actual authorities with the same if not better credentials then you claim to have, and use to come to your conclusions.) is way more believable than a group who has to plead it's case on political forums not published papers. So in addition to not being able to grasp the effect of the urban heat island effect, and differentiate between local climate effects and global climate effects, you also can't differentiate between the political heads of scientific societies who are concerned with politics and fund raising and the working body of scientific societies who really aren't on board with the man made climate change scam at all.

There is a reason that the political heads don't put their climate change statements up for a vote among the working scientists who make up the body...the american physical society tried that once and it took them about a new york minute to find out that the body of working scientists who make up the american physical union see the climate change scam in an entirely different light than those who see it in terms of political power and funding...ask yourself some tough questions some time...learn to think critically and you won't be a useful idiot...
