Lol the problems you stated can happen to a gasoline car too...I see that technology is not your strongest subject....there are supercharged everywhere where I live, and a full charge or less can get you through 300 miles.W are not long way from electric cars....I don't know where you live. But where i live (mostly hard working liberals, foreigners, productive people) can afford electric cars....All I see is lot of Teslas, BMW's I3, Chevy and other electric cars....you guys regressive that have low wages that can't afford it, and still cheer for fracking and mining.Keep fracking....people are moving away from oil, most cars will be electric. But I guess you like to go back in history.Actually it's because we flooded the market with our own oil which thanks to fracking made that possible.
We are a long way from the electric car being popular yet. It's too expensive and too unreliable. Yes, people buy them, but only because of the government subsidy. And what are we going to use to make the electricity for all these cars if they ever do become a huge demand?
It has nothing to do with affordability, it has to do with planning ahead which liberals are terrible at.
I don't want to be the guy calling into work to tell my employer I can't come in that day because my electricity went out, and I couldn't charge my car. Or be in my electric car on a very hot or cold day and need the AC or heat running in a traffic jam because of a serious accident in rush hour and run out of electricity.
If I get low on gasoline, I can always go into a gas station and fill up. What do you do if you are running out of electricity? Go to some electric station and sit there for two or three hours while your batteries are charging up?
Yes, I know, most cars have both an electric and gasoline capability, however if or when it advances to all electricity, then you're going to find problems.
Gas car engine has 500 pieces or more, electric car has one. Chances of your car break down are much higher of you had electric. And you dont have to spend a dime on charging it, while you paying thousands of dollars.
Oh, do you get free electricity with an electric car? This is the first I heard of it.
How does an electric car only have one moving part?
I bought a battery for my car last year. It cost me about $100.00. Just wait until you get the repair bill to replace the battery in your electric car.
I just started to have some repairs done on my Toyota Camry. I drove it 105,000 miles before putting one dime into it. Can you say that about electric cars?
You live in liberal la-la land. In real America, there are few charging stations and few electric cars. In fact I've never seen a charging station here in Ohio, and I certainly never seen anybody driving an electric car.
