Former Mossad Chief Efraim Halevy Slams Netanyahu For Nuke Deal Criticism

The former head of Israel's intelligence agency harshly critiqued Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's rejection of a framework agreement between Iran and six world powers on Tehran's nuclear program.

In a scathing op-ed published Monday, former Mossad chief Efraim Halevy argued that U.S. President Barack Obama was right to call the agreement with Iran "historic" and that Iran made important and significant concessions during the negotiations.

"For decades, Iran rejected the international community's demand to hold talks of any kind with respect to its nuclear program," Halevy wrote on Israeli news website Ynet. "The interim agreement reached in Lausanne proves that Tehran capitulated, by agreeing to conduct negotiations about its plans and the nuclear infrastructure it has built up for years, primarily in secret."

Only 54% of Americans view Israel as an ally, down 24% from last year alone. People don't appreciate their obstruction to peace and stability in the US, and their undermining of American sovereignty and the President through mega-lobbies like AIPAC. They better start behaving and get in line with US policy, or they could lose their free ride once Americans realize Iran is a stronger geopolitical partner than some warmongering welfare state the size of new jersey.

Israelis have a right to be cautious about any deal made with Iran. That does not mean they should reject any and every possible deal on the table, which is Netanyahu's stance. There will never be peace if no attempt is ever made to achieve it. That does not mean that we should just take Iran on its word that it will abide by any agreement that is made.

I'll defend him....you guys are delusional...nothing Iran says can be trusted....they are doing what they have to to get the sanctions lifted....then they will do what they want....I know...you guys for some reason don't get it....but let's talk in a year.....

they have given up nothing....hitter didn't lie as much in his deal with these same types.....

Last I checked, it was the US Government that lied about WMDs in Iraq. Seems you are just projecting the nature of your dishonest ruling class on others. Besides, CIA and Mossad Intelligence confirms Iran has no weapons program. There is no evidence for your claims.

If America wants to fight ISIS, normalizing relations with Iran is to their benefit. Iran is the primary force on the ground in Iraq fighting ISIS. Geopolitical partnership with Iran against ISIS enhances regional security of the Middle East and the national security of the US. Iran fights ISIS, whereas Israel aids ISIS rebels in Syria. Perhaps America should consider who its friends and enemies are in the region.

Must be a self hating anti-semetic jew..only reasonable conclusion

nothing Iran says can be trusted
Good thing the deal doesn't rely on what they say, isn't it dope?

Yeah....because they aren't going to do anything they say they are going to do and none of the weasels who came up with the agreement are going to follow through on any of the inspections or the consequences when Iran fails to comply......they could have saved all that time and money and done nothing at all and come up with the same deal.....

You guys are just delusional, and the world is going to pay for it.......

The deal doesn't rely on the Iranians saying anything, retard.

Yeah...the deal relies on nothing....since the Iranians are not going to live up to it from minute one....as soon as the sanctions are lifted....wait...that's not true....they haven't stopped doing anything they say they are going to stop even before the sanctions are lifted because they now they are dealing with fools....so they will just do what they are doing now....the idiots will lift the sanctions and then Iran will get lots of money without stopping anything.....

moron.....

And Iran just laughs in your faces.....

Obama s Historic Iran Deal Falls Apart As Mullahs Rev Up High-Speed Centrifuges - Breitbart

The very thin fiction of Obama’s “historic” agreement with Iran is unraveling with amazing speed. It’s notable that the Iranians never felt any urge to play along with Obama, not even for a few hours. They were loudly announcing his spin on the deal was false before the sun set on the day the agreement was announced.

And now the Iranians are actively violating the terms of the agreement, which hasn’t even been formally written down or signed yet, according to the Times of Israel:

Iran will begin using its latest generation IR-8 centrifuges as soon as its nuclear deal with the world powers goes into effect, Iran’s foreign minister and nuclear chief told members of parliament on Tuesday, according to Iran’s semi-official FARS news agency.

You're obviously too fucking stupid to know what the deal is and what the conditions are. You have been told by the Hannity types that we're trusting Iran based on their word or their promises.

It won't be long until I put your dumb ass on ignore.
