Former KKK Leader Sees Trump Campaign As The Klan's Take-over Of The GOP

Was it this guy?

That is exactly what is occurring.

The white racist take-over of the GOP happened decades ago. The enthusiastic reception of Trump's racism and bigotry are nothing more than proof of a condition that has existed for a long, long time.

The right-wingers are in denial, as usual, of a situation they know is true, but refuse to acknowledge.

Hey Bertram get ready to have your ass handed to you. Welcome to the board pompous fuck face.

Trump is well known for his anti racism stance from waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back with his very own club in Palm Beach. Mar a Lago was the first to break the color and religious barriers.

It was a very very as a matter of fact a yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge deal.

But what should that tell YOU?

You don't get it. Trump never wanted to be president. For him, this is all a PT Barnum scam with you as the dummy.

What you don't get is that he's exposed the racism of the Republican Party .. and he has effectively killed it.

An all white party full of racists cannot survive in this evolving society.

2016 .. its over.

Yes, Trump's campaign did expose the GOP racism. That is stated in the OP.

Yes, Trump's campaign is forcing the GOP to own its racism, that is also stated in the OP.

Yes, the Republican leaders' own actions are bringing about the destruction of the Republican Party. That was also stated in the OP. Did you not comprehend any of that?

This soft of denial?

Unlike David Duke, Robert Byrd evolved and managed to overcome his deep devotion to the Ku Klux Klan to become a civilized human being. That cannot be said for the Trump supporters and the other white Christian racists that call the Republican Party their own.

The Trump presidential campaign has exposed the true nature of the GOP. Trump's success has proven most of the Republican rank-and-file to be little more than an ignorant, hateful mob of religious hypocrites.

.

.

Duke didn't need to evolve, because he was trying to change the culture of the klan from the get-go.

There is a difference between having a problem with the klan and its history, and having a problem with Duke's activities while he was in the klan.

Good grief, how many more desperate threads by liberals are we going to have to endure trying to tie Trump to the Klan, despite the support and funding the klan has given to Hillary, despite Libs showing up at Trump rallies in sheets, despite handing out Nazi propaganda, and Hillary herself praising Ex-Grand Wizards of the KKK?!

Yes, Trump's campaign did expose the GOP racism. That is stated in the OP.

Racists pointing at others calling them 'racists' is beyond hypocritical. Unfortunately for the Libs, the DNC's own hacked ands released e-mails exposed them for being Anti-Semitic, racist, sexist homophobes who are desperate to make everyone forget that by pointing fingers at others.

That takes the cake.

Bottom line - supporting more spending, higher taxes, gun control, and queer marriage means you are OK no matter how many times you put a sheet over your face and chanted "white power."

The hypocrisy and bullshit of the Democratic party never ceases to amaze. Wake me up when a Democrat actually says something truthful...

Former KKK leader David Duke is pleased at the results of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. Over the past year, Trump’s open racism and religious intolerance exposed the true nature of white Christian conservatism.

Though years of Republican rhetoric have encouraged racism, bigotry, and religious intolerance among conservatives, Donald Trump’s political rallies have united white Christian conservatives to unashamedly embrace the philosophy of the Ku Klux Klan. This extremism was not anticipated by GOP leaders, as they mistakenly believed their loyal followers to be more... civilized. Well, party leaders were wrong, and in a big way.

Both Duke and Don Advo, a radio host and contributor to a neo-Nazi blog, agree that Trump’s appointing former Breitbart News Network chairman Stephen K. Bannon to be his campaign CEO has helped white extremism take control of the Republican Party. Bannon has taken Breitbart lurching further and further to the right in support of Trump and his fans’ racism and anti-Muslim and anti-immigrant ideas.

Trump’s campaign has revealed that most conservatives are gratified by the idea of the KKK’s principles becoming a major influence in the Republican decision making process. But in reality, it is just another nail in the Republican Party’s coffin. The vast majority of Americans are opposed to everything the Ku Klux Klan represents, and their disdain and disgust for Republican politicians will be seen during elections in the coming years.

The Republican Party’s own actions of the past five decades will cause its destruction. The world will be gratified by the death of such a contemptible organization.

interesting. I think it's safe to say that no major party candidate for president has ever made the kkk freaks feel more at home.

I agree. The KKK really likes Hillary, especially after the DNC's leaked e-mails exposed the Libs as a bunch of Anti-Semitic, racist, sexist homophobes.
