Just a couple reminders why we need to save America from the Liberals, the Socialist, the Muslims and the illegal aliens.

Patriotism doesn't include putting party or ideology over what is best for the country. The Taliban are not patriotic towards any country. Same thing with all ideologues. They just love their ideology. Right winger Obama-haters would rather see the American economy crash so they could blame it on Obama. Supporting the commander in chief is a true conservative value. Personally I am glad that the economy has improved but then I am happy whenever things go well for the American economy regardless of which party controls the white house.

Patriotism is doing what is best for your nation. Whether that is supporting current government policy or opposing it. It is going to work every day and doing your best. It is attending the PTA meetings when your child is in school, and encouraging your child to do his or her best always. It is serving on the food bank committees, being a Boy or Girl Scout leader, a neighbor to all your neighbors. It is doing what builds a stronger nation. It is not about ideology or politics. More often than not, we see that sort of thing interfering with true patriotism.
