It wasn't much of a movie, but it was a hell of a soundtrack.

Disco? What? You didn't run out and get the soundtrack to Xanadu?
I would cut my own balls off before I would listen to that tripe. Seriously

Ahhhh 1978.

I loved that soundtrack.

It was the demo they used at many stereo shops back then.

I bought my first reel to reel, a Teac a-1200U, used for $150.00, and the small stereo shop owner threw in The Best of Bob Dylan, FM soundtrack, and ELO's New World Record.

I can remember wanting more buttons, and switches.

You can imagine how thrilled I was with "graphic equalizers"...very few people who had them really knew how to use them for audio benefit...but they looked awesome, and made me feel really smart about audio.

I didn't own this one, but isn't it a bit of overthinking?

I have a Teac X-2000, My dad bought it for me when he was overseas, in Japan. I would buy a new record and record it on tape and never play the record again. The quality on tape is awesome.

Oh hell no. Not if you've got a live show to mix. Rings can be quite specific.

That is a decent playlist I must say. "Give us some funked up music" would never play on the radio back then.

The thing I loved the most on the A-1200U was the stereo echo. I used to use it as an unnecessarily large echo peddle for my guitar, because it had the jacks for it
