I think it is VERY telling because if Trump were going to pardon Flynn, there would be no reason for Flynn not to keep on sharing information with Trump's team. I think at this point Flynn knows that Trump won't go out on a limb to pardon him, so he now has to look out for his own skin and that of his son.

Flynn may be moving to cooperate with Mueller’s Russia probe

WASHINGTON (AP) — In a move that could signal cooperation with the government, lawyers for former national security adviser Michael Flynn have told President Donald Trump’s lawyers that they are no longer communicating with them about special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian election interference.

Flynn’s legal team communicated the decision this week, said a person familiar with the move who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation. The New York Times first reported the decision.

Robert Kelner, a lawyer for Flynn, declined to comment, as did a lawyer for Flynn’s son, Michael Flynn Jr., who has also come under investigation from Mueller’s prosecutors.

Flynn’s lawyers notified Trump’s legal team of the decision in the past few days, according to four people involved in the case who spoke to the newspaper. The report was later confirmed by the Washington Post.

The report comes after NBC News on Wednesday reported that Mueller is looking to question Bijan Kian, an associate of Flynn. Previous reports have suggested that the special counsel already has enough evidence to indict Flynn and his son, who also worked for Trump’s campaign.
