Florida Election, Dem Wins

Haha, I can only laugh.

Partly because of the left's continued use of the word "Teabagger". For a group that postures themselves as such "intellectuals", they sure do cling to that word don't they?

Second- their Obama Zombie mode is coming out again. They know little about politics except "Obama good, all else bad", which is why they voted for him, and their guaranteed existence in government dependency.

Lefties: Do you know ANYTHING about that district in Florida? Did you know that it is almost exclusively Democratic and Jewish???????? That would be like trying to run George Bush for mayor of San Francisco. Or Al Gore for mayor of anywhere in South Carolina. A handful of spots in this country will NEVER change their political alliance regardless of current events.

So.....the Dem's won a district that is dominated with registered Democrats and Jews. SHOCKING!!!!! But not nearly as shocking as the right taking New Jersey and Kennedy's seat.

But, then again, trying to explain the complexities of demographics, voting, political trends, etc, to a lefty is impossible. Again, they comprehend little beyond "Obama good, yummy."

The "Special Election" to replace Demoratic Party Congressman Wexler was suppose to demonstrate Repuglican Party strength in Florida after passage of the Health Bill.

No dem was suppose to be able to win, after the passage of the Health Care Bill.

Repugs please pay attention, I will use small words for your small minds.

Ted Duetch (Dem) 62% of the Vote.

Ed Lynch (Repug) 35% of the Vote.

YOU LOST.

Again I did use small words for small minds.

What? On the same day the Tea Baggers were holding their BIG RALLY?

Must be liberal mainstream media propaganda

If Scott Brown's election was supposed to be a bellwether before the passage of the HC bill, then how about this one?

This GOoPer ran on repeal, after all...

Again, in THAT district, it would be similar to running in San Francisco's Castro area on a platform of banning gay marriage forever. Impossible. That district is dominated by Democrats and Jews. No Republican could win.

But please, Obama Zombies, feel content that the tide has turned and you are secure in November.

Did Obama rallied for Duetch?

The worthwhile number is the difference between last time and this time.

The swing isn't that big a deal. From 66% for the dem down to 63%. Most seats have that kind of a majority in them. But a 3% swing in a marginal district, where the dem won by 52% last time... even though there are very few of those,.....

If you think a 3% negative swing in a district like this one isn't a scary harbinger for you folks, you are whistling through the graveyard.

See, there you go talking common sense and political analysis to the lefties. They don't grasp that.

Unless you present them with a photo of Obama or a tree to bow down to and praise....they aren't gonna get it.

But thats OK. It's that mind-set that has put them into a position in life where they are looking up to us, begging the government to take more of what we have to distribute to them. Quite pathetic actually.

Well, 3% swing negative really isn't that big a deal. It is kind of hard to interpet unless we had a better snapshot.

In MA, the special election had a huge level of participation. That is unusual. It looks like this was just the usual small sample that special elections get. There are several more between now and then. Some are for more competitive districts. Will be interesting to see what happens there.

The thing to watch out for is for formerly solid districts coming into play, and marginal districts moving solidly in one direction. We don't see any of that here. Just a small move in the sample.

The big thing to watch out for is Tparty action like in NY23. There was white hot hate toward the establishment Republican there. Can the Democrats use the Tparty to rescue themselves from marginal damage?

In all fairness, there is no Tea Party movement in Florida...

...errr...uh...

lol

hmm...... wait.... isn't Florida one of the most densely Elderly populated states in the U.S? So if the new health care bill was actually "bad for the elderly" wouldn't it face some of the strongest opposition from Florida? Shouldn't it be the best tea-party recruiting grounds if you go by what the Tea-Party says it believes in?

I guess not... Could it be that old people believe that Health Care reform was long overdue, and that they agree with the recent legislation? nooo........ of course not...... that would mean they don't support Republican efforts!!!! *gasp* :O

This election was so big no one even heard of it until the result were in this morning!

Whew! That's almost as breathtaking as Franks 'margin of error' spin on NY23!!

lol

how can this be????

scott brown! Scott brown! Scott brown!

It may be this is the problem of a dog that didn't bark. There was no swing away from 0bama. So there is no risk to the stupid legislation. Hard to know.

Possibly one of the few differences beween Senator Brown, of Massachusetts, and The New Florida CongressRep: Is the Cosmo Concept.

Senator Brown, in fact, famously snubbed the Tea Party on the Boston Commons, highlighting the difference between the current. self-serving costume-party goers, and the original Tea Party costume-party goers, who dressed up like Squanto look-alikes--if they did!

Senator Brown is sensitive to the issue of dresses, or something. In fact, the likely pro-gender rights, pro-finance reform, likely anti-filibuster Republican is just what the United States needed at the time. He apparently didn't even mind campaigning, unlike the Democrat!

Now the House of Representatives has another seat it needs, and going forward: Anyone can notice that others will follow. Jews are even noticed to lead the way at the street carney crowd gatherings: On Venice Beach, In California. The Jewish people step forward. Everyone else follows! Catholics, even: Follow!

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Apparently the CongressRep encountered those polled by Rasmussen: Who at any rate, are not very likely to vote(?)! Surely it must have been them! It was the enthusiasm that kept them out of the Rasmussen polls(?)!)

These schmuks in Broward County and Palm Beach will always vote democrat...even if Satan himself were running on the Dem ticket. They'll all tell you to kiss their tuches if you don't like it. They all suffer from mishegas in Palm Beach and they've got a lot of chutspah that really doesn't amount to bupkes. But, feh! They will never kvetsh. It's all shmutz to them. Oy vey.

But for the rest of us...we dont' expect to win EVERY election...like it was said earlier in a different thread..."you can't fix stupid"

Where was the much vaunted Tea Bagger influence???
The righties will of course be saying that "The District Was Very Democratic." while this is true, it is also true that the majority of voters in the districts were over 55. You know, the GrandMa's that were gonna have the plug pulled on them.

This was suppose be one of those "Post Health Care" elections where the Repugs and the Teahadists would prove their power. The Cons lost, pure and simple.

I believe that was a pretty Democratic district.

AH....that old horse. The cop-outs have started. This election was suppose to prove the influence of Teahadists, and where is that influence...the world wonders.

You're right...

The democratics have nothing to worry about in November...

All is well and 0bama will save us all... Might as well just stay home and watch the democrat victory party...

Woo Hoo!
