Whenever Dems get control of the government, it usually doesn't take long for them to expose themselves for what they really are. They always have to lie and pawn themselves off as moderates to get elected. Once they are in office and start pushing their hidden progressive Agenda, the American people always push back.

I think when Republicans get elected they do a lot of good when they stick to a conservative agenda, but after time they become too complacent and end up turning into a bunch of big spenders and compromise too much. When the face of the party becomes moderates like McCain, then they start losing elections.
