Film censor regrades Mary Poppins due to racist language

They have addressed the problem in an adult manner. Parents now know what is in the film.

But what makes you happy in such a context? What is your part in this game? That all others are forced now to think the same stupidities as you think and so it will become true what everyone thinks? But what if everyone is wrong? Or do you enjoy that no one is able to enjoy the film "Mary Poppins" any longer? Or do you hate your parents who have forced you to see such films and now this hate finds an excuse? Or ... ?

I have never seen the film. My Grandson is mixed race and 4 years old. I would be uncomfartable watching the film with him and explaining the racism.
Now I can just avoid it.

I still do not understand what makes you happy - but me makes happy nothing to have in common with people like you. I fear my grandson will become a pirate and then he'll raid your village while your grandson will be helpless and full of tears because Mary Poppins will not help him: Ätschbätsch. Ah sorry - in English it's: "Awwww" ... Hmm ... What a poor translation for "Ätschbätsch". ... "Awwww." ... Is this really a correct translation?

Schläft ein Lied in allen Dingen,
Die da träumen fort und fort,
Und die Welt hebt an zu singen,
Triffst du nur das Zauberwort.
Joseph Freiherr von Eichendorff
Sleeps a song in all things,
That dream on and on,
And the world begins to sing,
If only you can find the magic word.

Translation:

Out there we form gangs
Those who shout can't think at the same time
I don't write us slogans
How can I claim to steer?
I know no solution, only songs
I'm smarter and better not
I don't know anything that can hold me up
So I'll stick to a poem
I don't expect it to save me
I don't expect it to do any good
I only know that you forget the fear
Fear is forgotten when you sing

I know when we talk about peace
Then we're already at war
I know that because I can feel it
That's all I have left
I have no words, only tears
For most people that's not much
I don't know who else I can believe
So I believe my gut
And I know that we've blown it
And that a miracle won't work now
And I also know that you forget the fear
Fear is forgotten when you sing

Look at us fighting in the street
And you think the war is still far away?
Listen to what they shout, "My uncle", "Your brother"
Listen carefully, then you'll know
Those who are angry are not vigilant
And doesn't see what's really happening
Those who are afraid start to bite
Those who feel helpless work
But courage doesn't mean not being afraid
Courage only means that you jump anyway
And I know that you forget the fear
Fear is forgotten when you sing

Because I'm afraid for my freedom
I'm afraid to ask for the truth
I'm afraid of my freedom
I'm afraid to tell the truth
Because I'm afraid to show myself properly
Without walls and halos
I'm afraid that someone will be the enemy again
I'm afraid to be the enemy
But courage doesn't mean not being afraid
Courage only means that you jump anyway
And I know that fear is forgotten
When you sing
