The only way those jobs could come back to America is if American workers under-bid 3rd world labor markets, which means they would have to accept 3rd world wages that would not enable them to survive.

My friend is doing work in a rural part of Africa. They have to unplug everything at night because there are no regulations to ensure there will be no fires. They can't drink the water. The roads, sewage, electricity and general civil engineering are insufficient for commerce. All of these things are provided by big brother in America. Profit depends on big brother. Do you know what Eisenhower's interstate did for commerce? Did you know that Boeing was a heavily subsidized corporation before going fully private. They suckled at the big teat of socialism. Profits are made in the Southwest because of the Hoover Dam, which is why the region is habitable at the industrial level. Do you know how much the pubic has invested into cellular infrastructure?

This is why big corporations go to Washington. Because they want favors from the nanny state.

Have you ever been to Washington? Have you seen the massive lobbying presence of mega-corporations? They are there to get money and favors from big government. The point of becoming a market winner is to have the resources and leverage to bend government to your revenue stream - to apply the largess of the taxpayer to your profits. The point is to get massive amounts of taxpayer dollars in the form of subsides.

Washington is an ATM of no-bid handouts to big business. It's all Socialism - and it goes to large corporations and their wealthy share holders. Turn off talk radio.
