I hate that part in the movie. It is the worst part of the whole movie.

Awesome. I didn't know the Karate Kid played guitar too.

Actually, Steve Vai played both leads. His biggest problem was how to fuck up, when doing the track for the Karate Kid's part.

I played this movie for my rock and roll buddies (who were in a band). We had been partying hard all night and it was about 3am when this scene started. We were all pretty much asleep at the time, but as soon as the black devil say's, "Oh, I can get you there real fast!" and you hear those first initial riff's from Vai, I look up and all my buddies have their eyes wide open and are looking right at the TV screen. We must have watched that last scene 5 times in a row. I had seen the movie before, so I knew what was coming up. I just wanted to see their reactions when it did. Because during the whole movie, you hear this cool R 'n B track. And then all of a sudden, without warning, you get Eddie Van Halen.

It brought back memories Bonzi - thanks. Back in the day......I use to do really good on the dance floor. Ahhhh, the days of my youth.

Texas - Belton lake.

Korea - a good club, excellent music, food, beer and good friends.

Those were the days.
