At GOP, after Bush-Cheney-Et. Al, Senator Arlen Specter was the first to go, who finally went. Then in former Rep. Murtha's district--who will never be late again--the unions, Nancy Pelosi, and Obama were not able to propel the Republican to even a credible performance. The Democrat merely had to announce an agenda change, and then it was between the record of GOP, versus the Democratic Party record.

So the Conservative fundraisers even have a hard time spinning it off in the Washington Post:

Right Now - Tim Burns: The day after

The Rand Paul Republican primary victory is easily read as "Starting To Take America Back," but apparently they mean from the Republican Party.

Obama is becoming an icon of deficit spending, and not just on the favored GOP defense contractors. Obama-Biden even included the State and Local, Teacher and Public bureaucracies, and the federal contractors that the GOP tends to miss. The Cross-Over Ivy League called that a "private sector" stimulus, as they see it!

Mainly, the Tea Party campaigned against TARP(?)! That was GOP! Apparently, that is how Murtha's former district saw it too!

The Ivy League Cross-Over, Democrats of Change, are so far anti-poor minorities, anti-poor majority, spill-baby-spill, pro-war and for the end of even liberal Democratic, Keynesian-based economic policy.

So what the GOP Tea Party comes with instead is a policy based in laws requiring referencing a 1787 agenda, eliminating all further federal spending in Kentucky, eliminating federal energy and fuel subsidies, probably because California has cars(?), and for a more covert kind of gun ownership based on Amendment Four, Plus Two! A border-town Mexican gang cartel can probably understand the Tea Party movement!

Barack Obama, and Joe Biden, finally picked a pricey, Ivy League Professor, apparently rich and not even owing the local butcher a dime: Who is not likely to go about Deity-Damning the USA, or anyone else--who isn't Arab. Here is just another one, likely finding that "Equality Under Law," means that the rich are entitled to their largesse, and the poor are entitled to their sub-standard gruel-level pittance. That is the law in "equal" America(?)!

Those are "rights," according to some people. They have actually been shown to not work very well in practice. Hence, we have an Obama Administration, spending record.

GOP has yet to so-state, and as for the Liberals. . . .Even George Cohan would hold his. . .well: At the course of the "change" being made in the new Democratic Administration.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"

Your writing style: you say 'slick'...I say schizophrenic...

Some say "Havana," Some say, "Banana!"

There is a message, there: Frought with deeper, perilous, meaning?!

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Her Majesty does get to keep all the money that she wants to, just like they do in the more recognizable(?) parts of The Colonies! Deity-Damning the concept of "Equal Treatment Under Law" is beneath Her Majesty's government, even historically!)

The GOP is positioning itself to be a secondary party with the Tea Party pulling its strings and preventing it from appealing to a wide base.
Right now they are boxing themselves in as the party of old white men....A formerly Grand...now just old Party
They have driven away the young, educated, hispanics, blacks and urban voters...all in the search of "pure" Republicans

lol! I love warped Socialist/Progressive fantasies. There will never be one-party rule in this country. If the GOP goes, there will be another viable party to take its place. Sorry to spoil the Socialist/Progressive fantasies, but it is what it is.

Right now the TP is operating as an extreme wing of the GOP. As long as the TP pulls the strings and sets agenda...the GOP will be a secondary party

Yeah, it's really "extreme" to demand fiscal discipline from our government. :cuckoo:

When the GOP "Dies",please let me know. Till then i will just go on assuming that you Socialists/Progressives are completely deranged.

Kentucky gets more than a dollar back for every dollar they give to the federal government. That state has problems and needs help. Paul's solutions are "cut taxes". If you don't have a job, fuck taxes. If you make 20 grand a year, fuck taxes.

This guy is a doctor and a Republican. He hasn't a "clue". He is so disconnected from regular people.

So we should keep taxes high to prevent the people without jobs and the people only making 20 grand to keep from getting a job or keeping more of their money? Why?

Sounds to me like the people of Kentucky, don't want the Federal government in their lives.

Kentucky, it is posted, will only accept the beads and trinkets of "Laissez-Faire" in their state if Rand Paul is elected?!? The federal government does not regulate the beads and the trinkets.

They are free, now!

Lincoln was like that, we remember, and even appears on the opposition "Copperhead" penny to this date. Someone even put a monument, on the lawn in Washington, D. C., of Abraham Lincoln on this most giant toilet seat, ever seen in history!

Unless it was the throne Of King George III, which is who the Republicans have always been for! The English have always understood the right of the poor to their substandard pittance, and the right of the rich to their largesse.

Lincoln, Obama, the "wise Latina," and the new Jewish nominee are no different. The world celebrates the Holy Father's own Christian Hitler youth, even at this time.

Rand Paul just did an interview. He has a problem with the civil rights act. He thinks a business should have the right to say .."no blacks allowed" if they want to.

Oh my dear god! The perfect tea bagger.

It was on Maddow and she had to keep in on check because he kept not answering the question. He tried, but finally he said it. I will link the interview in the morning, but this guy says, businesses should have the right to have signs that say....
NO BLACKS ALLOWED. No shit. He said it.

Kentucky GOP Senate nominee Rand Paul is squirming under the bright lights of national media attention since he toppled Mitch McConnell's handpicked candidate Trey Grayson Tuesday night. On Wednesday, an interview he gave to the Louisville Courier-Journal, in which he seemed to say he would have opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, hit the Internet and cable television. Wednesday night MSNBC's Rachel Maddow interviewed him and tried to get him to clarify his remarks, and Paul tried to talk his way out of siding with the terrible folks who wouldn't let black students sit at those Southern lunch counters in 1960.

But Paul basically sided with the terrible folks. The Tea Party hero said he thought the Civil Rights Act was fine when it came to desegregating public institutions, but not private businesses. He called the issue of desegregating lunch counters "obscure," and implied the First Amendment gave business owners the right to be racist.

Los Angeles Times, Front Page, May 20 reports that (1) Jerry Brown is back in the lead in the California Gubernatorial election, that (2), Meg Whitman may lose to the other fellow for the GOP nomination at any rate, that (3) the Hewlett-Packard receptionist woman ought not to be photographed, and that (4) Meg Whitman has spent $68.0 mil. of her own personal funds, just on her primary campaign already!

News analysis: Primaries put Republicans on notice - latimes.com

Apparently the Poisner fellow is far more intolerant of Hispanics than she is. Also, apparently, the Poisner fellow got away with whatever he did! He was not ordered to pay back any cozy money taken from Goldman Sachs!

$68.0 mil., just so far, is quite a tide apparently not working: And even in the state now split on what to do about the Marijuana! California tends to get an advance look at all kinds of trends in America! The 20 Mule Team, actually, originates in the California desert, just west of Death Valley. People know that you drink a lot: If you know about the 20 Mule Team, and The Gipper!

The Democrats, being like they are: Probably want to tax the Marijuana. LA Times, May 20, reports that in contrast: Actually, Republican Arizona raised the sales tax on everything! It mainly takes a special set of circumstances to get the GOP to fund government spending!
