AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- The committee of political prisoner families in the West Bank has called on the local and worldwide media to cover a sit-in the group has scheduled for noon Thursday at the Ibn Rushd Square in Al-Khalil.
The committee said in a press statement on Monday that the protests would continue until the Hamas-Fatah unity deal, which provides for the release of all political prisoners, is implemented.
The committee has also called on the media not to announce events operated under the committee's name without official permission, denying organizing similar sit-ins in Nablus and Ramallah.
The committee called on Palestinians to join the peaceful protests.
