I honestly don't know if the same methodology is used in other studies....as you yourself pointed out, I don't talk about it......I DO know that government jobs are easier to track based on GS or WG level and TiS. I would guess that in the private sector it's not as clean and easy to compare. For example...how does one compare a white-collar position at Ford with a similar position at GM?
