Some are hard workers (of course most immigrates are hard workers) but they also commit a lot of crimes.

Your source, the Federation for American Immigration Reform has been designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center since 2007. Do you have anything else to prove your case?

How about you respond to the sources they cited and stop acting like an ass.

BTW, the SPLC has no credibility.

The Southern Poverty Law Center............. The name sounds like they help poor people. How noble. But who are they? What do they do?

They are a group of radicals who label anybody a "hate group" if they disagree with their views and politics. The Southern Poverty Law Center is a scary organization who wants to curtail freedom of speech.

SPLC belongs on its own hate group list

FBI drops: FBI Dumps SPLC as Resource for Lacking Credibility

WHY DO YOU KEEP REPEATING THAT FAIR IS A HATE GROUP. YOU KNOW IT'S NOT. TRY AND LEARN HOW DEBATE INSTEAD OF JUST REPEATING THE SAME LIES OVER AND OVER.

People like Trump say immigrants commit loads of crimes. Problem is you have to know how many immigrants are in the country to make estimates about what percentage of them commit crimes. Generally the number of known US citizens in the US is higher than the known number of illegal immigrants, for obvious reasons.

What percentage of prisoners are illegals?

Immigration and Crime Assessing a Conflicted Issue Center for Immigration Studies

"The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) estimates that immigrants (legal and illegal) comprise 20 percent of inmates in prisons and jails."

"Fentress, Inc., reviewed 8.1 million inmate records from state prison systems and 45 large county jails. They found that 22 percent of inmates were foreign-born. "

"DHS states that it has identified 221,000 non-citizens in the nation’s jails. This equals 11 to 15 percent of the jail population."

"The Federal Bureau of Prisons reports that 26.4 percent of inmates in federal prisons are non-U.S. citizens. "

The funny thing here is this:

"A Pew Hispanic Center study found that, of those sentenced for federal crimes in 2007, non-citizen Hispanics were 74 percent of immigration offenders, 25 percent of drug offenders, 8 percent of white collar offenders, and 6 percent of firearms offenders."

So, 74% of illegal immigrants are in prison for committing the offense of BEING AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT.

It's a funny thing. Every illegal immigrant is committing a federal offense, they're breaking the law, and they can go to federal prison for it. The fact that 74% of them get caught for that, and 26% get put away for something else is really telling.

Most Americans probably don't give a damn about whether the person is put in prison or not. The crime didn't kill anyone, didn't hurt anyone, harm anyone. Yes, it's a crime, and yes you have to deal with the situation, but Trump called them all RAPISTS, even the legal immigrants.

Even better:

"An analysis of the data used in the PPIC and IPC studies by the National Research Council found that 53 percent of the time the Census Bureaus had to make an educated guess whether a prisoner was an immigrant. The studies are essentially measuring these guesses, not actual immigrant incarceration. "

They don't actually know who is an immigrant and who isn't in most cases, they guess.

"In 2009, 57 percent of the 76 fugitive murderers most wanted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) were foreign-born. It is likely however that because immigrants can more readily flee to other countries, they comprise a disproportionate share of fugitives."

Another example of how you could make the stats fit your needs. Doesn't mean more murderers are foreign born, just means that more of them go back to their country and stay there, whereas Americans don't have that option.

This isn't to say some of the foreign born murderers aren't really bad people and deserve to rot in hell, or prison. It just means that stats can say what you like. Unless you're Trump of course, and you don't even use stats, you just make it all up.
