100,000's of veteran died while awaiting healthcare due to backlogged claims that NO ONE is taking care of - but the people in charge still received substantial bonuses.
And that is EXACTLY what would happen in a government controlled healthcare system. PERIOD.

The IG report does not say in any way, shape, or form the 307,173 vets died due to lack of healthcare.

307,173 died while awaiting decisions on their healthcare. As the report stated, because the information within the VA is so poor and under-reported it is not possible to exclusively state all died because they never received care.
However, it is absolutely true that this many people out of the almost one million awaiting approval - died while waiting for care they did not receive.
And in that - the headline is 100% accurate. It is a FACT that they died after applying for care they never received.

Now you can bury your head in fairy dust land and convince yourself no one died because they did not receive adequate care.
As the saying goes - blissfully ignorant.
