Solution 2. (a) NO ONE has given Iran US Dollars. The money given to Iran was Iranian govenment money that had been tied up in the courts under US legal actions. No American taxpayer dollars were used; and

(b) The money given to Iran to free the hostages is still sitting in the bank in Qataar, under the control of the US government, and Sec. Blinken has said that if it's proven they had anything to do with the Hamas attack, they won't get a nickel of that money.

The UN established a Jewish state because they all felt bad about the Holocaust (that they did very little to stop).
