European Bank for Reconstruction and Development begins debt financing of Georgian agriculture. They are going to grant ten million credit lines to four local banks each. This credit is settled for five years. Three of them are soft.
What do Europeans hope for? Are they REALLY thinking that Saakashvili would distribute that money among farmers and agri-corporations? I don’t think that Europe is so naïve. Saakashvili has destructed entire agricultural sector long ago. And this debt financing for looks like concealed backing of Saakashvili’s regime. Nearly everyone has understood who gets all money and valuable humanitarian aid. And Mishiko doesn’t like share with anyone. And seemingly EU has liked feeding a crowd of spongers. And those tender-hearted fairy godfathers decided to help poor Georgian tyrant. It’s amazing that they’ve chosen Georgian agriculture as cover-up of their true intentions. Imho orphaned children would sound better and more convincing. At least some of the Georgian high officials are orphaned either.

What is truly sad is to watch the political leaders in this country encouraging the "free-loaders" in this country to follow the same path that put Europe in that position.
