This is serious stuff. The left spends time worrying about Hank Williams and Herman Cain's opinions while evidence indicates that one of the federal law enforcement agencies engaged in a conspiracy that cost the life of a Border Patrol agent and God knows how many innocent Mexican civilians. Was Holder criminally responsible? The White House wishes it would all go away and the liberal media seems willing to comply.

Something needs to be done. The ATF sold (gave?) 2,000 illegal weapons to drug cartels in Mexico with some cockeyed plan to trace the serial numbers. One of the serial numbers came up when a US Border Patrol agent was killed with one of the weapons that the ATF donated to the Mexican criminals. That makes it a capital offense. Holder must have known about it. How would a part of the "justice" dept be able to pull off such a profoundly stupid elaborate monstrosity of a plan without the A.G.'s OK?

Can't...Holders going to jail if we still have a workable justice system in this country anymore...I really don't understand how the hell Obama couldn't of known to.

The idea came from the Oval Office.

It fits some of his past actions. Generate a crisis and use it to pass your programs.

They started up the health care debate to get Obamacare passed.

The BP oil spill allowed them to cut off oil production in the Gulf.

The Banking Crisis allowed them to institute Dodd-Frank.

They couldn't get Cap and Trade passed but they pushed it through with EPA regulations.

They wanted to eliminate the 2nd Amendment so they dreamed up Fast and Furious.

Obama knew about it.

They're attempting to intimidate reporters that are covering the story, calling them and literally screaming at them over the phone. They're trying to silence anyone who dares to bring this corruption to light.

Wall Street exploded in violence last night because his buds,.....hundreds of union thugs, showed up and tried to invade and destroy the offices of banks and brokerages.

Isn't it a crime to lie to congress? Who was the ball player who lied to congress? Didn't he have to do some jail time or is the hearing still going on?

Yes it is. It's not perjury because for some stupid reason they never swore him in....but what he did was provide misinformation to Congress which carries the same punishment as perjury.

Scooter Libby got the axe for less.

I think the reason he lied is because the purpose was to cause a fake crisis over gun-trafficking. They claim they wanted to track the guns...but that in itself was a crime because usually they provide criminals with something that doesn't work. These bozos provided working assault rifles to criminals that have been popping up in crime scenes all over the place. At best this is criminal negligence. At worst this is over 2000 counts of criminal conspiracy to commit a felony, accessory to murder, lying to investigators, the list goes on and on.

Obama will not....I repeat, will not appoint a special prosecutor because he knows if he does all hell will break loose. However when he leaves office the next president is duty bound to appoint one and prosecute him and all guilty parties to the full extent of the law. Pardons are out of the question.

Mark Hemingway of The Weekly Standard reported on Wednesday afternoon that he had attempted to interview CBS News​ correspondent Sharyl Attkisson​ about her dogged coverage of the ongoing "Fast and Furious" controversy, but was told that she was "unavailable." Attkisson has been the sole journalist on the Big Three networks regularly covering the story, particular during the past several weeks.

Hemingway described in his blog entry that he called CBS News to interview the correspondent, but was "told by CBS News senior vice president of communications Sonya McNair that Attkisson would be unavailable for interviews all week. When I asked why Attkisson would be unavailable, McNair would not say." On Tuesday, the reporter revealed on Laura Ingraham​'s radio show that Obama administration officials had "screamed and cussed" at her over her coverage of the story.

The conservative writer further noted that he had "heard from a producer at another media outlet that has previously booked Attkisson that they tried to book her since she made news with the Laura Ingraham interview yesterday. They were also told that she would be unavailable." Hemingway later called back McNair at CBS and left a message to ask "whether Attkisson's unavailability has anything to do with reporting that the White House and Justice Department were angry at her," but as of mid-afternoon on Wednesday, hadn't heard back from the network executive.

Earlier in the day, at the top of the 8 am Eastern hour of The Early Show​, the CBS reporter filed her latest report on the cross-border gun-walking issue, which featured an extensive interview of a gun dealer who had been asked to be a "confidential informant" by the ATF, but ended up assisting in smuggling around 450 guns to Mexican criminals.
