EPA Bans Most Wood Burning Stoves In a Corrupt Scheme, Fireplaces Next

They can not see that this is an overreach of the EPA's power...............

More regulations forcing industry changes...............

Perhaps the EPA, should have to actually build a few of them themselves before telling others how they must build them....................as most of them only get an occasional paper cut.

They cant see that it is an overreach because typical libtards cannot see a limit to the scope of government power if THEY control the government.

And they can see no legitimate use of government power if it is controlled by their enemies.

Make no mistake......the EPA has nothing to do with the environment and everything to do with expanding government. Anybody who doesn't recognize it is hopelessly deep in the matrix. The EPA destroys lives, destroys families, destroys dreams, destroys opportunity......a corrupt instrument of destruction of American tradition. A fascist tool.

The day will come when it does not exist in its current form, however, the costs will be great. It will cease to exist when the people finally decide to take their country back.

It is another governmental agency that is the model of corruption >>>

I agree, it wont be enforced against most people, but it will be just one more charge (or three if you count the accompanying conspiracy and logistics charges that would accompany) that they would use to scare innocent people into pleading guilty.

Of course, they could also use it as an excuse to get a warrant, should they bother, to snoop on you and your friends and your friends friends and your friends friends friends.

How silly. No one is going to ban fireplaces.

Don't say NO ONE.. The folks in Cali are working up to it. Already have fines in place and REGUARLY shut down all fireplace use.. San Fran had a ban in effect from Christmas to New Years for example..

No More Wood Burning Fireplaces In Parts of Southern California | Apartment Therapy

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. —Air district officials have issued a ban on fireplace use in seven California counties.

The Air Quality Management District says burning wood, pellets and manufactured fire logs in residential fireplaces, stoves and fire pits is prohibited until midnight Monday.

The counties included are San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Madera, Fresno, Kings and Tulare. Portions of Kern County are also included.

Officials say the ban results from deteriorating air quality across the Central Valley.

Violations can result in fines.

As of January 3rd, the EPA banned about 80% of the wood-burning stoves and fireplace inserts in the United States. Stoves which are used to heat 12% of the homes in America and are especially needed in outlying rural areas. Fireplaces are also being looked at.

The EPA is attempting to reduce particle pollution with new rules. Instead of limiting fine airborne particulate emissions to 15 micrograms per cubic meter (μg/m3) of air, the change will impose a maximum 12 μg/m3 limit. That is equivalent to a person smoking 3 to 4 cigarettes in a small confined space.

They'll ban BBQ grills next? Or wood burning stoves in the patio? At what point does the EPA stop sticking its bureaucratic nose in your home? Read more @ EPA Bans Most Wood Burning Stoves In a Corrupt Scheme, Fireplaces Next | www.independentsentinel.com

Well then, they are going to have to step up the fracking in order to provide all the backwoods KY folk with natural gas to burn in stead of wood. It's a circular process. Just sayin'.

If you need to replace your stove for whatever reason, you cannot trade it in, you cannot replace it with the old model because that model is now BANNED.

That's a paranoid fantasy which is contradicted by the actual law.

Ordinances and Regulations | Burn Wise | US EPA

The draft revisions apply to new heaters ONLY and do not apply to existing wood stoves and other wood heaters installed in peoples’ homes.
---

As you pointed out, less stringent standards have been in place since 1988. Since 1988, have the wood stove police broken down anyone's doors to get the contraband woodstoves? No. Back in the real world, prior-to-1988 woodstoves have been freely traded, resold and repaired. Because they weren't banned. The new regs work the same way.

So again, your strange claims are exactly like claiming that all cars have been banned because mileage standards for new cars went up. You were bamboozled by your crank websites yet another time. And, as usual, you'll defend the sources that lied to you by declaring all the real data is a socialist plot.

Wouldn't appear to be a paranoid fantasy if you read the thread.. If your stove is nearing the end of life -- grandfathering aint' gonna help you. Or if you buy a home with an immediate replacement need. Those stoves are gonna disappear quickly from inventory. And PERHAPS an illegal market will develop. All signs that no one here is in the fantasy world -- because we've been down this road too often in past couple decades..

Right now -- I'd consider a misdemeanor for finding a heat pump, or a toilet that actually worked..

This thread is why it does appear to be a paranoid fantasy. It features a bunch of people yelling about how the wood stove police will be coming after them.

Those stoves are gonna disappear quickly from inventory.

And so do all older car models. And yet cars haven't been banned.

lol, yeah just like old refrigerants and 5 gallon toilets haven't been banned.

you are eaten up with normalcy bias to the point you just cant even see it.

IF it's true, this makes no sense, and this law should be ignored by the people. For years we used a wood-burning stove, with wood from our own land.

Lol, wood stoves are being banned by the EPA,

No they're not. I can't put it more simply than that, so if you need it dumbed down more, you're out of luck.

New woodstoves have to meet certain emission standards.

Old woodstoves are grandfathered in. Nobody gets cited for having an old woodstove.

If you call that a ban, then you're either dumber than I ever imagined, or a bigger liar. Which of those is the case? It's like you're declaring cars have been banned because gas mileage standards went up.

Don't you kooks ever get tired of getting hysterical over every conspiracy theory that comes down the pipe? You end up looking stupid, every time, with your stupid streak being unbroken for decades running. You'd think that you'd eventually get tired of being played for fools by your masters, but you all actually seem to enjoy being left twisting in the wind.

Let it go. No point in arguing with the Rightyloons.
