1. When there's a GOP president: Incisive, confrontational questions, somewhat rowdy behavior.
2. When there's a lib president: Basically then it's a cheerleading squad. The obama variation on the theme is that it becomes more like a church service - quiet, respectful, no derisive laughing, puff ball questions.
This group serves no legitimate purpose. It's roots go back to when corespondents wrote notes and phoned them back to the editor.
Instead, the president should field questions from average people and bloiggers on a net site.
