It's difficult to make an apples to apples comparison of woman's wages to men's wages because the two demographics generally make different career decisions. If a woman can prove that she is making less than her male counterparts due to gender discrimination, then she can sue the pants (or dress) off of her employer.

Interesting that Warren trusts men more than women to be on her senior staff and allocates women staffers to more menial positions. That is a bigger issue than pay equity.

When the United States consisted of 2.5 million people concentrated up and down the East Coast of the continental United States, limited government and states rights were the way to go. With 300 million people over a vast land mass with a highly mobile population, and business and economic interests all over the world, a strong central government is needed to co-ordinate the infrastructure requirements of so large and diverse a population.
