Illegal Immigration: “It’s something the people don’t want us to be focusing on”
he political left refuses to acknowledge the existence of this burden. Each year billions of dollars of the hard earned tax payer money goes to provide health care, education and other programs to illegal immigrants.
Specifically (approximate figures):
•$11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare.
•$2.2 Billion a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches.
•$2.5 Billion a year on Medicaid.
•$12 Billion on primary and secondary education for children here illegally
•Over $1 Billion on incarcerating illegals
Imagine what Arizona, let alone our country, could accomplish if the approximately $28 Billion was being spent on programs for legal citizens.
