Jerry Brown tells Californians to get used to burning!

Yep.... Governor Moonbeam is batshit crazy.
I think he dropped too much Acid in the 60s.

Oh, wild fires being a new normal is kinda obvious. They're happening across the state.

The tinfoil batshitery that Brown is having them *set*? That nonsense takes a special kind of crazy
Not really.
Arson is a close cousin to fraud....but not much of a stretch. Especially when you take into account that these fires, or any disaster, are what liberals use to get what they want. After all we're dealing with card carrying communists who specialize in causing chaos and destruction.

oh, yes really. You're accusing the Governor of California with arson and homicide. For no particular reason, backed by no evidence, as part of an elaborate batshit conspiracy theory.

No wonder your post ended up here.
We are accusing the president of Russian Collusion without a single shred of evidence.

So join the fucking party asshole.

And you predictably abandon your hapless batshit about Brown committing arson and homicide when challenged.

Your concession is accepted.
No I didn't.
But you keep thinking that.
If anything Jerry Brown is at best a despicable opportunist. At worst he is perpetrator of yet another massive fraud.
Ask yourself what will happen if you bring in millions of inconsiderate illegal immigrants into your city with no jobs, housing, or means of support for them. They end up living in the hills surrounding your homes.

Then the city and state pass laws cutting off any rights to properly maintain or to water your property during a drought. What do you think will happen????

Wildfires, YOU FUCKING IDIOT!!!

Yep.....we can't touch all of that tinder until after we conduct a 3 year period of scientific research to discover the environmental impact it would have on the planet.

The Age of Western Wildfires

Wildfires are already on the rise
Wildfires in the western United States have been increasing in frequency and duration since the mid-1980s, occurring nearly four times more often, burning more than six times the land area, and lasting almost five times as long (comparisons are between 1970-1986 and 1986-2003).

Natural cycles, human activities—such as land-use (clearing, development, mining) and fire exclusion—as well as climate change can influence the likelihood of wildfires. However, many of the areas that have seen these increases—such as Yosemite National Park and the Northern Rockies—are protected from or relatively unaffected by human land-use and behaviors. This suggests that climate change is a major factor driving the increase in wildfires.

Is Global Warming Fueling Increased Wildfire Risks?

A conflagration of costs
property-damage-CABQ-gov.jpg
The economic costs of wildfires can be crippling. Between 2000 and 2009, the property damages from wildfires averaged $665 million per year.

In addition to the property damage they wreak, wildfires cost states and the federal government millions in fire-suppression management; the U.S. Forest Service’s yearly fire-suppression costs have exceeded $1 billion dollars at least twice since FY 2000.

The risk to property owners at the “wildland-urban interface” in California (more than 5 million homes in southern coastal California, the Bay Area, and north of Sacramento) is projected to increase with the increase in wildfires near these areas.

This year, 2017, the North California fires cost at least 5 billion in property damages. And the Southern California fires are still increasing the total for costs this year.

Nobody could possibly look at the fires in the West in the last 20 years, and not come to the conclusion that they increasing in area, in intensity, and vastly increasing in costs. Those of you stating otherwise are knowingly lying.

Link, asshole?

Just as the residents knew all along, the Skirball Fire that burned Bel Air was deliberately set.

Cooking fire at a homeless encampment sparked Bel-Air blaze that destroyed homes, officials say
It plainly says a cooking fire idiot.

From your link....

"Investigators were able to eliminate arson as a cause based on was left of the encampment and place of origin of the flames, he added."
A spontaneous fire? No.
So your claim is the homeless person set a fire, called it the Skirball Fire, and then let it go? Do you know what "deliberately set" means?

Yes. Some homeless person set a fire.

You do know fires are named for the first answering fire station. In this case, the Skirball station.

Do you think that campfires and cooking fires spontaneously combust and are not deliberately set?

It was discovered that this fire was deliberately set.

Stop deflecting. It was an accident not a deliberate act of arson. You said the Skirball Fire was deliberately set. You were wrong.

Cooking fires are never accidentally set. Someone always sets them.

The Skirball fire was set at a homeless camp at the tunnel where Sepulveda goes under the 405 freeway. I use that tunnel 4 or 5 times a week. The entire tunnel on both sides is filled with homeless. They don't cook in that tunnel. It must be on the road shoulder. This is not a wild area. There is no dry underbrush. On one side of Sepulveda is the freeway. On the other are access roads going up to the private estates.

I think it's even possible that CA Gov Brown has people out setting these fires.
This is a common tactic of the left. Creating a disaster so they can take advantage of it.

California governor blames devastating wildfires on climate change and says deadly winter infernos will be 'the new normal'
  • California Governor Jerry Brown said Saturday that destructive winter wildfires will be the 'new reality'
  • Blamed climate change for deadly infernos and urged lawmakers to take heed of natural disasters
California's governor has said that deadly wildfires in the winter will be 'the new normal', as fire crews rushed to contain the fires, with dry desert winds expected to intensify over the weekend.

Governor Jerry Brown on Saturday toured Ventura County neighborhoods ravaged by a weeklong wildfire that killed at least one person and destroyed hundreds of homes and other buildings.

At a news conference, the Democrat said drought and climate change mean California faces a 'new reality' where lives and property are continually threatened by fire, at a cost of billions of dollars.

He added that gusty winds and low humidity are continuing and warned that there's a good chance of seeing 'firefighting at Christmas'.

He said it will take 'heroic' efforts in the US and abroad to stem climate change and urged US lawmakers to pay more attention to dealing with natural disasters such as fires, floods and earthquakes.

Over the past week, six major wildfires have forced more than 200,000 people to flee and choked the air across much of the region.

Forecasters predict wind gusts to become more intense by Saturday night, challenging the 8,700 firefighters who have been battling the fast-moving blazes for five days.

I was born and raised here in California, and there is nothing I hate more other than Trump White Supremacist, Chauvinistic pigs telling us what to do. Especially from other states that have a horrific track record on every category.

I lived in CA for a long time back in the 70s and 80s. I couldn't find a decent job so I had to go back into the military.

I sold my house in San Diego in 2006. California is a beautiful state, but it's total shit now.

Too many CA natives have their heads in the clouds. Their kids were using and selling drugs in massive numbers. Chain-migration has destroyed the state. It got so bad in CA that the blacks started leaving the state and moving back to the East coast. Now that's pretty bad.
