Media mogul Matt Drudge has criticized “climate hysterics” at the National Weather Service for inaccurately predicting the severity of the late winter snowstorm currently engulfing the East Coast.
DRUDGE MOCKS CLIMATE SCIENTISTS: CAN’T EVEN PREDICT SNOW!
"Global warming" scientists can't even predict weather accurately
Drudge Mocks Climate Scientists: Can’t Even Predict Snow!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like we keep saying they only created this global bs to make billions of the backs of people. By guilt tripping people, by making them feel guilty, by making them worry the earth was going to end any minute all because they FOOLED you asses.

The climate scientists correctly predicted that the storm would not be as severe as first reported. They were afraid to report that to the public.

8 to 12 inches they said...

30 inches later........................I've been digging out now for two days.

Drudge?

LOL

Once again, the RWNJ idiots show they don't know the difference between climate and weather.

Mocking has replaced making a point. Because they have no science to back whatever their position is, they won't really say. But what they can do is mock people. That's easier than science!

When their predictions fail as continuously, and as spectacularly as they do, it is hard to not mock them. Face it, they are very mockable.

Predictions are predictions goofball. Not promises. So again, mocking their finding is way easier than presenting your own. You can just sit back and poo poo any finding.

Correct, and don't you think it sad that a well known charlatan, like sylvia brown, was able to amass a far better record of accurate predictions than the climatologists? She at least had a 75% hit rate, the climatologists are below 5%. That's not sad, that's pathetic.

Says you but since you didnt link anything I cant find your accusations as anything but accusations. Either way, mocking isnt a finding either way. Present your own findings, let others check it and then you'll be apart of the conversation.

But just sitting back and claiming that everything is bullshit simply because you assert it to be so isnt a counter point

Mr. Westwall continues his lies. On the contrary, the climate scientists have been making predictions for decades that have come true. Here is one from 35 years ago.

https://pubs.giss.nasa.gov/docs/1981/1981_Hansen_ha04600x.pdf

Summary. The global temperature rose by 0.20C between the middle 1960's and 1980, yielding a warming of 0.4°C in the past century. This temperature increase is consistent with the calculated greenhouse effect due to measured increases of atmospheric carbon dioxide. Variations of volcanic aerosols and possibly solar luminosity appear to be primary causes of observed fluctuations about the mean trend of increasing temperature. It is shown that the anthropogenic carbon dioxide warming should emerge from the noise level of natural climate variability by the end of the century, and there is a high probability of warming in the 1980's. Potential effects on climate in the 21st century include the creation of drought-prone regions in North America and central Asia as part of a shifting of climatic zones, erosion of the West Antarctic ice sheet with a consequent worldwide rise in sea level, and opening of the fabled Northwest Passage.

In 2007 the Northwest Passage opened up. Last year, a very large luxury liner transited the Passage.

Here’s some less well-presented info for the Northern Sea Route. The number of vessels making the transit, up to 2015 seems to have peaked in 2013:

2011/41 vessels
2012/46 vessels
2013/71 vessels
2014/53 vessels
2015/18 vessels

But it could just be that the information is incomplete.

Wow.... Predicting that the sky is blue, and the Sun will rise in east isn't a "prediction" silly boy.

Everytime you're confronted by facts you start to talk about what things "arent"

What facts? They predicted nothing. They said there would be storms. Ok. There are storms. There were MORE storms in the 1950's and earlier, but we'll ignore that. They then claimed that the storms would be more powerful. That was a not born out by fact. History shows us that the storms in the past were significantly worse. The only reason why they cost so much today is because there are more people, so more stuff to destroy, and inflation. In other words your facts, while indeed are facts, are not entirely factual.

What Drudge implies is the obvious.....but only to those not affiliate to the religion. And that is.....when the meteorologist cannot predict the weather with a billion computers 24 hours before the event, its laughable but not nearly as laughable as predicting the climate 50 years from now. The weather not being the climate claims by alarmists aren't taken seriously by the public. duh...........which is why you have tens of millions of Americans being silly with joy that the EPA is getting its balls kicked in.:coffee:. Why does it infuriate the climate k00ks? Because they know they are still a long ways from making the case.:bye1:

So the point of the thread is that Drudge is a dope, and so are his readers?

Climate scientists have aced all their predictions for 40 years running now. Deniers lie outright and pretend otherwise, but then, that's what deniers do. What the real scientists do is get it all right, and that's why they have such credibility. They've earned it by success.

In contrast, deniers have failed outright with every prediction for 40 years running. No matter. They still all know in their heart that the impending ice age will be here real soon, just you wait. The faith of the deniers is true, and no silly facts or logic are going to shake their devotion.

So Al Gore was spot on with all of his predictions? That's what I thought.
