They weren't going to waste film on something they weren't going to use.

No one should ever use a frightened dog in filming. The dog isn't trained for this. It doesn't mean dogs should not be actors. It means this is the wrong dog.

Or, use a special effects dog like the tiger in the life of pi.

Too many times this kind of circumstance is used to take sports and enjoyment from dogs and even cats.

They could have CGIed the whole thing. No way would I have put my German Shepherd through that. Hope they can the ASPCA rep that was there. What a loser.

there is a keg pull here saturday...you harness your dog and they pull a pony keg up this this slated parking lot....

i was gonna put the low rider buddy in it...he is strong as hell....then people talked about how funny it was to see the dogs freak out when they realized they were pulling a keg due to the noise it makes...then i ask about fencing....none.....this event is right on the road....proceeds go to a dog charity but i still dont like the idea of going to an event where you are laughing at scared dogs....i was concerned about buddy freaking and running into the road

my rule of thumb....if i wouldnt do it to a kid or let a kid do it.....then i wont do it to a dog or let them do stupid stuff
