    I thought this thread was gonna be about all those fancy breeds of doves.

    Interestingly enough, did you know that all of the varieties of fancy doves today are descended from the same variety of old? They got all the different varieties by selective breeding. Some of those birds don't look like they could even be remotely related to other varieties.
