(DAUPHIN ISLAND, Ala.) Joseph Dozier says he was just trying to do his job, taking cleanup workers around Dauphin Island on his boat. He has a wife and a newborn and was doing the work to supplement his income.

After taking a crew over to Little Dauphin Island, Dozier says he saw and smelled something that just wasn't right, a group of workers huddled under a tent. He says they were in a circle with an ice chest passing a marijuana joint around. "You know what pot smells like," Dozier says.

When he got back to the dock he says he told a hazwopper supervisor nearby, who told him not to worry, the guys would be fired. But Dozier says that wasn't the case. "He went right around the corner, patted them on the back and said 'don't worry about it, you got a job tomorrow,'" Dozier says. He says he then went to the BP tents on the island where it got ugly.

"I asked somebody if they knew someone in charge of the hazwoppers." He says a man told him to find U.S Environmental Services. When he found a rep, he says that man told him to be quiet or be fired. Dozier says the next morning he went to check in at the marina and his name wasn't on the list.
