It's always amusing to watch Republlicans get flummoxed when the question of slavery comes up, the other numbnut running for the GOP nomination said that many slaves got valuable job skills that they used later in life.

That has nothing to do with the topic here.

And if you think the civil war had anything to do with slavery then you're dead wrong. It had nothing to do with slavery, it had to do with states rights. One region wanted to keep slaves yes, but it was all about states rights to make decisions that already was an issue waybefore slavery was abolished, that was just the last straw.


At the end of the day it was republicans that abolished slavery while Democrats were defending slave owner rights.


And some learned skills. The issue is people as yourself that dislike Republicans do not know a thing they are talking about and only care about dissing republicans so you'll just repeat things like that without actually knowing personally.

Even slaves ancestors benefit because they now live in a country where even a criminal dopehead thug black has a better life than if they tried to live their lifestyle in pretty much any other country in the world.
