That is how it works....a male killer can murder with his hands, or a Wal Mart hatchet...the female victim...cowering behind her order of protection is better off using a gun to shoot the killer.....

This is one reason why it's smart to get guns out of the hands of perpetrators of domestic violence. The incidence of death increases exponentially when guns are in homes where domestic violence is perpetrated.

Hi Dhara I would focus on the counseling to address relationship abuse, and addictive/bullying
personality disorders.

The economy in that, is the same therapy and healing process it takes to cut through cycles
and generations of abuse, addiction, mental or physical illness also leads to resolving any number
of related social ills stemming from these roots.

By solving the root problem, then a host of other social, psychological, financial and political issues also can be axed at the root.

The hardest selling point? The therapy methods that work the best are FREE.
So these cannot be lobbied and sold through big pharm or PACs.

The natural methods that are most cost effective are basically
competing with interests in making more money off the problems,
including buying influence to promote their agenda through the media.

counseling? relationship advice?

abusers are recidivists. their abuse increases, it doesn't decrease.

you take guns away from abusers first... then worry about "relationship counseling".

I believe that to be true. These assholes almost always have a history of violence.
