The ballots are what counts.

In heavily third world ghettos of the US there is a fear that the savages will think this is the end of the world and both riot and offer human sacrifice to their village gods.

The eclipse is an easy explained, scientifically predicted natural phenomenon. Nothing supernatural about it.

But an elected, sitting senator is claiming it is God's message to us. The eclipse, the earthquakes and even storms have MTG saying it is God's message for us to be republicans.
