Do you think your average tea partyer would take a pepper spray to the face-

The TEA protestors recognized the cops were there to do their job and maintain order, and they followed the rules.

I'm frankly wondering what the OWIES are trying to accomplish here? They honestly sound a bit selfish. "The rest of you should pay for my college!"

Really?

Because that's kind of what it's devolved down to. Boo-hoo, I owe a lot in college loans and I'm not getting that $50,000 job on graduation.

Not building up a lot of sympathy from someone like myself, who paid for college with miltiary service and working minimum wage jobs.

Let's concede, TEA and OWS both are really upset about the same thing- how our economic and governmental system is broken. Both have valid complaints about what some of the problems are.

But honestly, making life difficult for everyone else by occupying parks and campuses for days?

the tea people were a) older; b) had sporadic rallies; and c) weren't attacked by police like the Occupy people were in Oakland and UC Davis. To be fair, the police then also weren't paid 4.6 million to protect corporate interests like the NYPD were either.

just saying.

They weren't attacked by the police because they violated no laws, caused no riots, seized no property, did not destroy private property, did not block traffic except when issued a permit to do so, followed the cops orders, etc etc. Any more ignorant statements you wanna make?

Yes they such good little citizens, so well behaved and compliant. They showed up to these rallies to find all this stuff already paid for and arranged by the lobbyists and none of them asked "who's paying for all this stuff?"

If the tea party was any kind of threat to the oligarchy then you can bet your ass there would have been riot cops out there.

What's your point, other than you're an idiot.

There's no reason for riot cops because the Tea Party isn't violent. Get that through your thick skull. All of the lies the left has been telling about us is not true. It is true about the left however. Whenever they protest they usually turn violent.

Teabaggers are older, wealthier folks - many retired, who support the wingnut agenda. Whereas, the OWSers are youth who don't see a future. They can't afford motor homes and Medicare scooters - so they camp out in tents and such.

Anyone see the difference...?

Do you think that a person should always comply with a police order no matter what? What if they came for your guns?

Yes. Would they want to? No. Pepper spraying a peaceful protester is wrong and that applies to all peaceful protesters. But if you're implying that Tea Partiers are somehow all cowards,i will just have to politely disagree and call Bullshot on your premise. Are you calling all Tea Partiers cowards? Please clarify.

Failure to disperse when ordered makes rougher treatment justified. You should be thankful the police are so restrained.

A few gathered does not over rule the rights of the majority.

I'm sure that some of the TEA party protestors would have preferred pepper spray over fist, feet, and protest signs to their faces and bodies delivered by SEIU thugs

jus sayin

i'm sure you'll be happy, horty, to provide credible documentation of that.

cause the only thing i saw happen to tea people was that they obstructed and interfered with town hall meetings of any representative they disagreed with... ranting and raving and shrieking.

Oh i see what you did there. This is another one of those 'Tea Party = BAD but OWS = GOOD' posts. Oh boy,so exhausting. Same repetitive shyte. Why did i even bother? :(

i don't think Teapartiers would be criminals.

So I guess that's where your comparison kinda breaks down.

It is the authorities who decide who the criminals are. Mighty narrow in your outrage at the government. Are you a nationalist when the right people are getting roughed up?
The criminals are the people who broke windows at a small private business on the streets of Oakland, CA a couple of weeks ago at an OWS mob riot, which was not supposed to happen. They're also those who do illegal drugs on the street, have sex in public on the street, and potty everywhere, particularly targeting police squad cars.

It leaves a certain smell in the house, and people in the cities they are loitering around in are getting tired of the damages, the stench, the thoughtlessness, the lying babble, and the blight on America that spoiled old wealth OWS planners have rubbed in the face of working class conservative Americans.

OWS ceased to be a public rally when it spent the night on city streets. That's not a good idea, and it costs other people too much money the OWS is not willing to shell out money to clean up its own stench.

and then they went to congress instead of shitting in the streets of New Yawk.. wear some booties now.

SEIU gets violent with tea party - Bing

for the cause? They like to talk big but they are telling the OWS protesters to meekly submit to state authority when the state arbitrarily decides their rights have run out. All those who say they would never submit if the government trampled their rights need to look at OWS to see what that looks like.

If some cop wanted to disrupt a perfectly CIVIL gathering of people resorting to the Constitutionally guaranteed right of peaceable assembly by pepper spraying a crowd of Tea Party loyalists, I KNOW how they'd take it.

Red eyes. Choking. Tears.

Possibly vomiting.

Anger.

And then?

They would go right on complying WITH the law.

Too bad the OWS shitters don't know how to behave properly and legally, too.

Yes.

Not everyone needs or even wants a gun to do their talking for them, preferring to live by their wits and good work.

Come in, officer. I was just finishing a squad car quilt for shock victims. Sugar or cream? :D

Works every time.

You have a point (if I understand it correctly) - when I was watching the video, besides the outrage I was surprised (but not a lot) that the others did not jump on those cops, but it's easy for me to say, but I think they really should start bringing guns to the movement for situations like this.

However, I also noticed that the gun totters also are not nearly as tough when it came to defend their neighbors from banks/police reposessing their homes. most were out in Iraq partying (or liberating something, whatever)

:fu:
Stay tuned for neg, you useless piece of shit

America has forgotten what anti establishment protests look like. The tea party was nothing but an anti Obama fest, nothing to do with anti government, they cannot wait to get their hands on the levers of power again, to become nationalists again. Real protests are inconvenient and costly for those who hold the reigns of power, if it does not provoke a negative response from those who you are protesting then it is nothing.

well screw you all. You are NOW INFRINGING on others RIGHTS (blocking bridges, storming businesses, closing down ports, etc etc......... not the damn government or as you call it, anti-Establishment...

and just WHERE THE HELL are you all getting all this MONEY for the inconvenience and cost you are causing PEOPLE??

Take your suggestions of armed resistance to the police somewhere else, not interested.
